To use an emote in the lobby, you just need to go to your upper left, click on the three-line menu, and then on the Emotes section. This will open up the emote wheel, and you may choose an emote for your character to do, which can be easily seen by you and other players, as the lobby shows your character in a third-person camera view.
However, this takes a different approach once you take the submarine and start one of your missions. Once the submarine sails away, your view will change to first-person, and either during the trip to the facility or once you’re there, you’ll have to press the H key in your keyboard.
This will make your character move and perform an emote from a variety of options, such as applauding, moonwalking, dancing, or jumping excitedly. You need to keep in mind that this can only be seen by other players, or if you look down with your camera.
Please also remember that if you keep pressing h, you’ll be able to do different emotes, but you have no control over them, as the cycle is completely randomized.
