Where To Get Ethereal Cobwebs

When completing the prologue, your mysterious friend will give you just enough Ethereal Cobwebs tokeep the Wyrd at bayaround your campfire. However, you’ll need more if you want any hope attraveling somewhat safely and unlocking unique rewards.

Ethereal Cobwebs can only be obtained bydefeating creatures during the Wyrd hoursat night. You’ll know it’s the right time when there’s a gold spectral ring on the ground and the music changes despite there not being any enemies nearby.

During this time, strange things can happen. Typical enemies will go haywire,humans will transform into monsters, and the Wyrdspawn will emerge. One of thebest early game placesto find alarge supply of Ethereal Cobwebsis down bythe Sunken Village at night. Here, there areplenty of monsters and open spacefor Wyrdspawn to appear.

Be careful when attacking the Wyrdspawn and other creatures like them! They tend to swarm in groups.

Regularcreatures tainted by the Wyrd will drop a small amountof Ethereal Cobwebs whilecreatures from the Wyrd will drop larger amounts. Farming through the Wyrd will easily bolster your numbers, so ensure tohead out at night to collect dozensof these cobwebs.

How To Use Ethereal Cobwebs

Ethereal Cobwebs have several uses, though they’remainly used at campfiresto unlock additional actions. When you use Ethereal Cobwebs at camp,a protective barrier will keep the Wyrd outwhile also letting you do alchemy and other craft at the site.

You can alsouse the Wyrd to identify objects, though each requires a different number of cobwebs to complete. Additionally, if you want tofast travel without using the waypointsspecifically, you’ll need tocharge your bonfire with ten Ethereal Cobwebsfirst.
