Dave the Diver’s Ichiban’s Holiday DLC has some of the Like a Dragon series’s most popular characters show up at the Blue Hole to meet Dave and crew, and after you’ve had your fun punching your way through the first mission and Ichiban and the Bartender visit Bancho Sushi, the next missin has you needing to cook up a new dish: Cold Noodles.
There are three ingredients you’ll need for this dish; three Buckwheat, one Egg, and three Stingray Meat. If you’re having trouble tracking any of them down, and it’ll likely be the Stingray Meat, here’s where you can find all ingredients you need.
How To Get Stingray Meat
Stingrays seem to be rather rare, but fortunately you don’t need to dive too deep to find them. They appear in theBlue Hole Shallows during the day at depths of about ten meters.
They areburied in the sand, so you’re able to’t see them from a distance, butas you approach you’ll see the red mark of an aggressive fishappear and then it will attack you. Check all of the surfaces around the ten meter depth, and if there is no Stingray then return to the boat and try again.
It must be the normal Stingray to get the Stingray Meat you need, the Marbled Electric Ray that is found in the same area does not count.
You can either carve the meat off the Stingray once it’s dead, oruse the Salvage Drone to transport it whole. One Stingray should be enough to get the three Stingray Meat you need for this mission.
How To Get Buckwheat
You’ll automatically be given enough Buckwheat Seeds to grow what you needat the Farm, and then you simply need toplant them, water them, and harvest them once ready.
If, for some reason you don’t harvest the crops in time, you’re able to simply buy more seeds from Otto for 45 a piece.
How To Get Eggs
By the time you’re able to access the Ichiban’s Holiday DLC (after Chapter Five, once you have cocktails unlocked), you should have access to the Vegetable Farm and have chickens on the farm already too. Visiting the farm will give you Eggs every day, sosimply visit to get the single Egg you need for this mission.
If you have yet to purchase any chickens, you can easily buy some from the Chicken Farm NPC.
How To Complete The Mission
Once you have all the ingredients you need,go to Bancho Sushi at night and make the Cold Noodles dishto serve to the Bartender. You’ll be rewarded with a karaoke mini-game, the Ono Michio phone charm, and a Cocktail Shaker.
Once Ichiban and the Bartender have returned to Japan, you’ll get a call where they tell you about the Hero’s Bat (which can be found in the depths of the Blue Hole).
