What Are Azmerian Wisps?
Azmerian Wisps appear assmall balls of lightthat will begin toflee when you approach. As the Wisp moves, it will attract nearby monsters, which will thenInfluence the monsterswith a specific Touched effect, granting them buffs.
The Wisp will attempt toinfluence Rare and Unique monstersas well, which it will Possess if it comes into contact with them. Possessed Rare and Unique monsters will periodically summon spirit animals of the same type to aid them in combat.

If you let the Wisp move too far away from you, it willdisappear. The Wisp will also disappear if you die at any point while chasing it or fighting the Possessed monsters.
The Possessed monster will dropbetter loot than usual, and it will drop even more loot according to thenumber of Touched enemies you defeated leading up to the Possessed monster. This monster will also occasionally drop aTalisman of the same animal type, which can be used like Runes to add stats to your Armour.
Sacred Wisps
Sacred Wispsare a special type of Azmerian Wisp that inflict unique effects on the monsters around them. For example, theSacred Wisp of the Cunning Foxupgrades Normal monsters into Magic monsters, Magic into Rare, and Rare into Unique Bosses. While their challenge is a lot more difficult, the loot is upgraded accordingly.
How To Find Azmerian Wisps
Azmerian Wisps can appear in most maps throughout the campaignrandomly. You can tell if one is nearby because Delwyn will also appear and help you track down the Wisp.
