One ofAtomfall’soptional challenges is to find buried lunchboxes throughout the Quarantine Zone. These classic tins have a retro sci-fi vibe, and better yet, they contain useful supplies that you may use on your journey.

There’s no telling whether a buried cache will be a normal lockbox or a lunchbox until you dig it up, so if you’re trying to get a complete collection it pays to know where to look. We’ve tracked the coordinates of every lunchbox in the game, so that you can go straight to them with your trusty Metal Detector.

How To Find Lunchboxes In Atomfall

Lunchboxes are a special type of buried cache, and as suchcan only be dug up using the Metal Detector.The Metal Detector will beep when you’re near a cache, but the only way to find out if you’re near a lunchbox or a standard cache is to dig it up and see.

Other than being necessary for thePacked LunchAchievement/Trophy, there’s no functional difference between lunchboxes and lockboxes.

Using Lunchboxes As Storage

Since lunchboxes don’t move, you canleave items inside of them as a handy supply drop for later. Mark them on your map with a custom icon, or just keep this page open to note the coordinates. This can be easier than finding a bunker with a pneumatic storage tube.
