Every castle and fort inAssassin’s Creed Shadowsallows you to earn spectacular legendary gear if you can defeat all Samurai Daisho enemies. These locations can have anywhere between one and five Daisho to defeat, which can become challenging when you’re tasked with more enemies to find and kill.
Luckily, Takatsuki Castle offers a medium commitment, with three Samurai Daisho to take out if you want the main chest of loot. Whilebarging into this area as Yasuke and slashing through the castleis a valid strategy, it can be a long and arduous fight, so we’lltackle this challenge silently as Naoe.

Where Is Takatsuki Castle?
Takatsuki Castleis in thenorthern portion of the Izumi Settsuregion, between the Muggy Lands and Yawata Plains.
The nearestfast travel pointis theTakatsuki Kakuregato the southeast of the castle.

How to Find & Assassinate The First Samurai Daisho
Approach the castle from the southwestern entrance, where you’ll see there is occasionally a large fight that breaks out in the area. Use the distraction as your opportunity to walk in undetected so you don’t have to worry about scaling the wall.
Once inside the southwestern courtyard, dash into the bushesto hide or use the rooftops to stay out of sight as you stalk thefirst Samurai Daisho.

There areseveral supporting enemiesin this courtyard who will bepatrolling with the Daisho,especially if there’s chaos going on outside.
If nobody is moving, the best bet is to take out the two guards along the northern path, then lure the guard next to the Samurai Daisho over to you with a Shinobi Bell.
Once you’ve picked off the guards, wait for the random workers to clear out, orlure the Daisho over to the bush to finish him off.
How to Find & Assassinate The Second Samurai Daisho
From the southwestern courtyard, proceed northuntil you see a large scaffolding sticking out of the central wall. Scale this area and take out the guard at the top, thenfollow the wall northto get a better view of the area from the tower roof.
You’ll see thesecond Samurai Daisho to the east,on thenorthern edge of the large central courtyardin Takatsuki Castle.
This Daisho likes to patrol the area,stopping next to ahouseand by somebushes,adjacent to a section of thenorthern castle wall.
You can wait at either spot to take him out,but make sure you eliminate the nearby guard along the northern edge so he doesn’t see you leave the scene.
How to Find & Assassinate The Third Samurai Daisho
Proceed along the rooftopsfrom theeastern side of the central courtyard and move toward the south side,where you’ll findthe third and final Samurai Daisho.

What Rewards Do You Get From Takatsuki Castle?
With the three Samurai Daisho taken care of, you may finish collecting the loot scattered across Takatsuki Castle along with the Legendary Chest.

Synchronization Viewpoint
At the top of thetower where you find the Legendary Chest at the northeastern corner of the castle,you’ll earn a synchronization viewpoint and a fast travel location.
