The waters surrounding Avalon are a treacherous place, and the people ofTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalonknow it all too well. Sea monsters lurk beneath the depths, waiting to feast on boat-bound passengers, and even the weather might come after people, precautions or not.

Such was the case with the Andraste, a ship that was supposed to have crashed in Smuggler’s Bay over a hundred years ago. An old lightkeeper wrote about it in his logbook, but that still doesn’t give a definite answer. Lady Elaine wants to know what happened, and she needs your help to do so.

How To Get The Andraste’s Findings For Elaine

Headback to the shoreline of Smuggler’s Bayusing the same path as before, thenhead north along the beachuntil you reach the massiverock formation in the northeastern cornerof the mapwhere the All-Mother’s Temple is.

Goeast along the shoreuntil you hit the water and have to startswimming around the outside of that rock formation. Keep close to the cliffside, and eventually you’ll find asmall section of landyou can jump onto on thenorthern side of the rock formationwhere theCastaway Cave is located.

Inside that cave, you’llfind some regular Drowner enemiesand a lot ofcrates, barrels, and bodies you can lootfor Cooking Ingredients and different Crafting Reagents.

Make sure tostop and check the chests along the way, as the one sitting next to a lone crate contains the incredibly powerful Merlin’s Thorn spell, one of the best early-game Mage spells.

Follow the linearpath through the caveuntil you come to acircular chamber with a large stalagmitein the center, and trigger aboss fight against the Scourge Of The Seas.

How To Beat The Scourge Of The Seas

The Scourge Of The Seas is adecently powerfulenemythat can do someheavy damage if he gets closeto you, and haslong-range attacks on top of melee ones.

He’llprimarily attempt to attack you at close rangeusing aleaping slashand acombo with his sword, but he’ll alsothrow a water projectile like the Drownersdo occasionally, and fire offwaves of magic from his sword.

If you’reusing magic, the Merlin’s Thorn spell found earlier in the cave does massive damage to him, especially when combined with a wand or staff, and doesn’t require high Spirituality to use.

Hismagic attacks are the least damagingof what he does, so try tokeep your distanceat all times andbait out that or the water projectile, especially if you’re using Magic or Bows, and thengo in for damage as he’s recoveringfrom using those attacks.

Keep your health high andavoid his melee combos, and The Scourge Of The Sea willgo down quickly. As a reward for beating him, you canloot his bodyand get theone-handed sword Tidepiercer, whichfires off the same long-range projectileswhen you perform aHeavy Attack while wielding it.

How To Complete The Last Voyage

Swim over to the rocks, climb up to the top, andget close enough to the cargo to examine itto update the quest, and now you can head back to the entrance to Castaway Cave and leave.

You’llhave to swimback to themain part of the shoreline, as there’sno suitable spot for a Bonfirenearby, but once you’re there, you canplace oneand use tenEthereal Cobwebstoignite the fire and fast travelback to the village.
