If you play as a spellcaster inThe Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, then you should try and join the Mages Guild to unlock the full potential of magic. Not only does the quest line give you access to many spells, but the story also deals with a sinister faction brewing in Cyrodill amidst the Oblivion Crisis.

How To Start The Leyawiin Recommendation Quest

To start the Leyawiin Recommendation quest, you’ll need to firstbe part of the Mages Guild. You can talk to any of the guild hall leaders to join, and all you need isa clear criminal record. That means not being wanted in any of the cities in the game.

Once you’re part of the Mages Guild, go to the one in Leyawiin. It’s situated in the western part of the city.Go inside and speak to Dagail, a female Wood Elf with pointy white hair. She will ask you toget her Seer’s Stoneand tell you to talk to Agata, another member of the guild.

Agata is a tall Nord lady with blonde hair.Talk to Agata, and she will explain to you what the Seer’s Stone is. She’ll then ask you totalk to the other guild membersand ask what they know about the stone.

To progress the quest,you’ll need to talk to Kalthar, a Nord with black wavy hair. Ask him about the Seer’s Stone, and thengo back and talk to Agataand tell her about the new information about the stone. She’ll then tell you totalk to Dagail again, who will finally send you to go to a dungeon nearby.

Where To Find Fort Blueblood

Once you’ve talked to Dagail, the quest will update andmark Fort Blueblood on the map. It iseast of Leyawiinon top of the ‘B’ and ‘l’ of ‘Blackwood.’

Where To Find Manduin’s Amulet

When you enter Fort Blueblood, it will be yourtypical dungeon ruins with leveled bandit enemies.

At low levels, they will be equipped with iron or steel weapons and armor. At higher levels, they might have better gear like glass or mithril armor.

Go through the dungeon until you reach the very end, where you’ll have tofight the Marauder Warlord. Once you defeat him,loot the Fort Blueblood Keyfrom his corpse. The key willopen the last areaof Fort Blueblood, where you can find a couple more enemies as well as some coffins.

Open the coffin labeled ‘Manduin’s Coffin’ andtake Manduin’s Amuletinside. Walk back the way you came from, and you’ll be stopped by Kalthar, who will attack you after the conversation.Defeat him and loot ‘Kalthar’s Key’to open the door he locked behind him.

How To Complete The Leyawiin Recommendation Quest

Once you’ve retrieved Manduin’s Amulet from Fort Blueblood, go back to the Leyawiin Mages Guild andtalk to Dagail again. Tell her you’ve found the Seer’s Stone. She will finally be able to talk to you normally andgive you a recommendation, finishing the quest.
