Wonder weapons are among the most powerful firearms in Zombies mode, but obtaining them isn’t always a walk in the park. While you might get lucky and pull one from the mystery box, crafting them offers a more reliable, though challenging, alternative. But trust us, it’s worth the effort.
With the release of the new Shattered Veil zombies map inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, players are treated to not one, but two wonder weapons. And the fan-favorite that everyone has been eagerly waiting for is the Ray Gun Mark 2, which you’ve probably already spotted in-game. This guide will walk you through exactly how to get your hands on it.
How To Get The Ray Gun Mark 2
The first thing you need to do is progress through the rounds in Shattered Veil until youreach round tenandactivate the Pack-a-Punch machinein the underground level of the mansion.
How To Obtain The Floppy Disk
After both of these requirements are completed,a special zombie called the Lab Technicianwith purple eyes will spawn. When you kill this zombie, it will drop a quest item called Floppy Disk.
With this item in hand, you need totake it to a fax machinelocated in theeast foyer of the mansion,just before the Stamin-Up machine.
How To Get The Code
In the left corner of this room, you will finda PC that you can interact with, andit will start printing a paper from the fax machine next to it.
This will also trigger some zombies to spawn, so you just need to wait and kill any zombies that try to attack you.
After the fax machine finishes, interact with it, and you will receive a textwith a word in all capital letters.Make sure toremember this word or write it down, as you’ll need it shortly.
From here, make your way to the west of the mansion towardthe nursery room where the PhD Flopper machine is. Just to the right side, you will be able tosee a chalkboard with a bunch of groups of words.
Now, here where things can be a bit tricky but here is exactly what you need to do to get the code in numbers:
Keep in mind that both the word and the numbers, as well as the letters on the chalkboard, will be random in each match, but the method remains the same.
How To Defeat The Doppelghast
Now that you have your four-digit code,head to the underground level of the mansionusing the elevator, then make your way outside to the tunnel by unlocking the door.
Just in front of you,you will see a Doppelghast trapped behind the door,and to the right side, there will bea panel where you can insert a code.
Here, you need toinsert the four-digit code you figured out earlier, and this will open the door, causing you to face the Doppelghast.
Make sure you’re prepared before freeing the Doppelghast, but it fights the same way as the ones in Citadelle des Morts.
After you manage to defeat it,it will drop the Severed Arm item,which you need to get your hands on the Ray Gun Mark 2.
How To Obtain The Ray Gun Mark 2
The final step is tomake your way to the Armoryand thenuse the Severed Arm on the panelto the right of the window where the Ray Gun is hanging.
This will cause the glass to open,allowing you to get your free Ray Gun Mark 2.
The Ray Gun Mark 2 can be upgraded to three different variations that change how the gun works.
