Wanderstoptasks you with brewing the perfect cup of tea for the colorful characters that visit the clearing. Before you’re able to get the delicious fruit that produces the tea, you’ll need to grow Large Hybrid plants, which in turn are grown from simple plants.
There are four different colors of Simple Plant, each producing its own type of seed that is then used to grow hybrid plants. Below, we’ll take a look at how to get each color of Simple Plant, as well as how to get a few of the various other plants that are found around the clearing, like mushrooms and tea leaves.

There will be slight spoilers for items that appear later in the game below.
How To Get Every Color Of Simple Plant
Simple Plants are grown by watering a single seed of the same color. Here are the types of seeds you may get.
Blue Fern SeedsandPink Flower Seedsare available during thefirst chapter.Yellow Palm Seedsare introduced duringchapter two, andGreen Hedge Seedsinchapter four.
To get more seeds, you’ll need to makeSmall Hybrid Plants. By planting theseeds in a row of three, you’ll create a Small Hybrid Plant; the type depends on the color and order of seeds used. Watering this plant will then cause it to grow seeds, the color depending on the type of plant.
You can also sometimes find Simple Plants already around the clearing, or sometimes inpots around the shop. Additionally, you can sometimes find seeds on the shelves or tables near the tea machine in the shop.
You may occasionally find seeds whensweeping piles of leavesortrimming weeds.
Where To Find Tea Leaves, Coffee Beans, And Mushrooms
While not technically Simple Plants, you can also findTea LeavesandMushroomsaround the clearing, as well asCoffee Beansstarting inchapter four. All three of these plants areinexhaustible, meaning they’llinstantly respawn elsewhereonce you pick them, so you don’t have to worry about running out.
Mushrooms come in four variations, but the concept is the same for each. They will typicallygrow in groups of several types of mushrooms, so you’ll probably need to find a few different groups to get all the mushrooms you need for a drink.
Tea Leaves and Coffee Beans (once they’re available) are much easier to get; justrun around the edge of the clearingand you’ll find them in no time. Coffee Beans are picked up straight into your inventory, while Tea Leaves need to be gathered using the basket, which you can grab from the workshop room in the shop.
