How To Start The Azura Quest
To do the Azura quest, you’ll first need to find an offering for the shrine. To interact with Azura’s shrine,you’ll need to have oneGlow Dustwith you. You will also need to interact with it at either dawn or dusk, which are5 AM to 7 AM, or 5 PM to 7 PM,respectively. The minimum level requirement islevel two.
Where To Find Glow Dust
Glow Dust can be found in alchemy shopsall over Cyrodiil. you’re able to also find it in alchemy merchants inside the different Mages Guild buildings in the main cities.
If you can’t find Glow Dust in the vendor’s inventory, try refreshing it by waiting outside their shop for 72 hours or three days.
Where To Find The Shrine Of Azura
To find Azura’s Shrine, you’ll need to gonorth of the city of Cheydinhal, to the northeastern parts of the map. The shrine is ontop of the ‘nt’ of ‘County Cheydenhal’on the map. To save some time, you can also find the Gutted Mine, southwest of the shrine.
How To Complete The Azura Quest
When you interact with the Shrine of Azura at either dusk or dawn with an offering, she will talk to you and give you the Azura quest. This involvesgoing inside the Gutted Mine, which can be foundsouthwest of the shrine. You mustslay the five Afflicted Brethrenthere who have turned into vampires.
Vampires have resistance to normal weapons. Make sure to use silver or enchanted weapons to deal full damage to them. Using your fists will also deal full damage.
The final two targets will bebehind a false wall. You mustfind a rock tied to a rope and activate itto open the false wall.
Once you’ve defeated all the vampires, the quest will update and tell you togo back to Azura’s shrine. Go back there and activate the shrine again to talk to Azura. She willreward you with Azura’s Star. It isa Soul Gemthat can hold up to Grand Souls, and it doesn’t get consumed when used.
Unlike in the other Elder Scrolls games, in Oblivion, you can’t corrupt the Azura’s Star to make it take humanoid souls.
