Where To Find Frenzy Shards

The easiest way to describe how to getFrenzy Sharddrops in Monster Hunter Wilds is by simply slayingFrenzied Monsters.

However, you need to havebeaten the story of Monster Hunter Wildsfor them to appear. Mainly because you need to be completingHigh-Rank missions, which unlock after Chapter 4and by beating theLurking in the Shadowsmissions, which introduce Frenzied Monsters and walk you through how to deal with them.

After you’ve completed the aforementioned quest, Frenzied Monsters will appear at a higher rate.

To begin your search for Frenzy Shards, start by making your wayto the Iceshard Cliffs. Frenzied Monstersthat can drop these shardshave a higher chance of showing up in this area.

If you’re having a hard time finding Frenzied Monsters, take on theAberrant Atrocityoptional quest given out by Alma at the base camp. The objective would be to kill a Frenzied Monster.

Where To Find Frenzy Crystals

Unlike the shards, getting aFrenzy Crystalis a focused search - there seemsto be only one wayof obtaining these resources.

Frenzy Crystals will pop up in the same spot whenyou specifically fight Gore Magalain theIceshard Cliffsduring themain story quest calledShrouded in Black. You’ll get to this point in thesecond part of Chapter 5.

When you beat Gore Magala during your first encounter, it unlocks theoptional quest Misty Depths, which allows you tofarm for the Frenzy Crystals.

Just head back to Alma and repeat the fight.

To extract the crystals, the same rules apply. You have tofight the Elder Dragon and target any wounds that open.

If you battle the Gore Magala,you can also get Frenzy Shards on top of the crystals. Once you’re at that point, you can cut your work in half by only going up against the dragon rather than taking on other Frenzied Monsters.
