Being a live-service gacha game,Genshin Impactheavily relies on limited-time events to keep their players logging into the game every day. Not only do you have to do your dailies to get 60 Primogems and slowly build them up, but also take part in these events before they end.
Reel Ad-Venture is one such event released during the Version 5.4 update, and you have to assemble a few rough shots in a specific order to get the best review in it. Once you get the review, you’re able to claim all the rewards of that particular reel.
The Reel-Adventure event has fully been released andwe’ve added the shot chronology for each reel in it!
With the world of Genshin Impact growing constantly, the developers have made access to limited-time events a lot easier for newer players. To access Reel Ad-Venture, the only criteria you have to fulfill isgetting to adventure rank 20and finishing the Song of the Dragon and Freedom quest in Mondstadt.
However, it’s alsorecommended to do the Tatara Tales side quest in the Tatarasuna area of Inazumaas they introduce you to Xavier, the NPC that gives you this event. Once you have these conditions met, you can head over to Cafe Lutece in Court of Fontaine and finish a quick quest before starting the event.
The main idea of the event is toassemble a few shots in a certain orderto get a Raver Review at the end.
While you’re assembling these shots, you can see asynopsis of what a specific group of shots is supposed to represent. You can also see a dialogue written at the end of each asset, and you have to match them with the synopsis in order.
A Vital Choice Rave Review Guide
A Vital Choice is the first reel you’ll find once you head over to the event screen, and it’s about the Knights of Favonius wanting to incentivize people to use better potions before battleas they increase their chance of success. To get a Rave Review in this, you’re able to organize your assets in this order:
Each row of assets has three pictures, and the numbers below under “Asset Assigned"represent the row and the picture number you’re supposed to assignto a specific shot.

The reel starts off with Sucrose and Noellelooking at purple-colored potions.

It follows up with Noellelooking at the same purple potionsand saying that she’ll be fine.

You then show a Hilichurlgetting ready to attack Noelleafter she takes the potion.

Since she didn’t take the better potion,Noelle loses the battle here, using up all the assets in the first row.

The scene then switches toTimaeus asking people if they can relateto what they just saw.

Wanmin: Where Life Tastes Better! Rave Review Guide
The second scene takes you to Wanmin Restaurant where you have to advertise the place with afew specific characters including Guoba, Shenhe, Xiangling, and Chef Mao. This has to be done in the following order:
The scene starts withGuoba waving at the camerawith the Restaurant’s logo in the background.
You then seeChef Mao starting his introductionin front of the place.
Other than the restaurant, he also shows Xiangling and a bunch of other characters todisplay how happy they are.
For the next three shots,Shenhe introduces the restaurantin her own monotonous way.
After that, it’sXiangling’s turn to say everythingshe has to about her restaurant.

At the end of the commercial,everyone comes on the screen againand says the tagline.
For the final two shots,Guoba tries to sneak some snacksin his belly but Xiangling catches him.

Invoke The Path To Victory Rave Review Guide
The Invoke The Path To Victory reel takes you to Inazuma where Aratakki Itto and his gang haveasked for a reel to promote Genius Invocation TCG in their region. This one will be a little difficult as you have to use some of the assets multiple times as follows:
The scene starts off with everyonelooking down at Itto’s handas he offers an allowance to all team members.
The next three slides zoom in on each member’s face as theyfigure out what they should do with the money.
The next three scenes showItto getting angry just by looking at his gang memberstrying to spend the allowance on something he didn’t intend/
In the eighth shot, the gang membersfinally notice Itto’s angry face.
Itto now tells them that they’re supposed tospend the allowance on a new deck of TCG.
The scene finally ends with thegang being excited to play TCG.
Focus On Your Future Rave Review Guide
The Focus On Your Future reel in the event takes you over to the fourth region called Sumeru where Faruzan islooking to ask students to focus on their future so that she can get more applications. Here’s how you can get a Rave Review in this one:
While she does that, one of the Sumeru NPCsarrives with messages from various studentsabout her course.
However, when she looks at the first two, she realizes that she wasrejected because the students had differentstudy focuses.
She then starts looking dejected and tired of the word “focus”.
She finallyreads a letter from Collie, one of the playable characters from Sumeru.
But the anger quickly subsides as she realizes that it’s good that the students have focus.
The scene then ends with Cyno giving a speech onhow important focus can befor your studies.
Boundless Adventure, Unbound Joy
Thefinal reel in the event is called Boundless Adventure, Unbound Joy, and it takes you back to Fontaine where you started the event. It’s about promoting a specific Tabletop Troupe, and here’s how you can do it:
The scene starts off with all the playable characters on a table andClorinde introducing a guarded merchant.
Navia tries to use Persuasion on it, followed by the same skill on a crab and a Cryo Regisvine.
Furina, getting shocked by the same use of skills,speaks up and asks if she can even use Persuasionon a plant.
To this, Navia shows her cards and reveals a skill to talk to plants. Shealso does a dice roll and gets an easy 20.
You then get a scene of Navia looking at her treasure andperforming her idle animation beside it.
After all this commotion, Lyney and Lynettetell you how fun it isto play this event with your friends.
After getting a Rave Review in this reel, you can head back to Xavier andclaim another ten Primogems after a small dialogue.
Every time you finish editing a reel in A Reel Ad-Venture event and get a Rave Review,you’re able to get 80 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, and some upgrade items. There are a total of five reels, whichequates up to 400 Primogemswith another 20 from the event quest.
Other than that, you’re able to also display your best edit to your friends as long as the event lasts bygoing into the Editing Records section and clicking on the eyeon the bottom right of an edit.
