When you first start playingRunescape: Dragonwilds, you’ll have quite an easy time since the animals and goblins in the starting area have very low HP and damage, allowing you to stomp them. However, as you progress to further regions, you’ll find your HP getting depleted by one or two attacks from some enemies.

If you want to survive the harsh lands, you’ll have to get yourself some high-tier armor. Rough Cloth is one of the main ingredients for upgrading your armor in the game, but there are quite a few steps before you may acquire this item.

Runescape: Dragonwilds is currently in Early Access, and the content of this article is subject to change.

How To Make Rough Cloth In Runescape: Dragonwilds

The main ingredient for making Rough Cloth in Runescape: Dragonwilds is Coarse Thread. you may get this by putting some Flax orCoarse Animal Fur insidethe Spinning Wheel. The former gives you one thread for each piecewhile the latter consumes three pieces for one thread. You can easily find a ton of Flax around the starting village, and it respawns quickly.

You’ll need12 Ash Logs, four Flax, and two stones to create a Spinning Wheel, but your journey to making Rough Cloth is still pretty long. From here, you’ll have to progress in the game until you canget your hands on some Bronze Bar and Wool Thread, both of which require you to reach the Fractured Plains biome.

You can make Bronze Bars with Copper and Tin whileWool Thread can be acquired from the Spinning Wheel with Fleece.

When you have these items, you can create a Loom in the build menu with the following materials:

Finally, when your Loom is created, you can place the Coarse Thread in it to get some Rough Cloth. You’ll get one cloth for every three threads placed within the Loom, and you need a bunch of it if you want to createall three armor typesfor your body.
