If you want some of the best gear inThe Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, then Daedric artifacts are the way to go. Unlike other quest rewards, these items aren’t leveled and are always at their best. That means you will always get to have the best version of that item, whether you get it at Level five or 30.
For the classic sword andShieldusers in the game, you might want to get aDaedric Shieldcalled theSpell Breaker. Mages are always tricky to deal with in the game, so having ashieldthat can fling their spells back at them is always good.

How To Start The Peryite Quest
Unlike the other Daedric quests and their shrines, Peryite doesn’t require you to have an offering to talk to him. Instead,you will need to be at least Level 10to start the quest, since it’s a dangerous one that will lead you into the planes of Oblivion.
Peryite Shrine Location
To start the quest, you’ll first need to go to Peryite’s Shrine. It is locatedeast of Bravil, where the Silverfish River bendsto the west, going to Niben Bay. The nearest landmark to it is a rope bridge next to the shrine. The exact location on the map is on theupper left of the ‘R’ in Silverfish River.
How To Complete The Peryite Quest
When you go near the shrine, you will see Peryite’s followers standing still and not able to talk.Interact with the shrine to start the quest, and Peryite will explain what happened to his followers. Their souls are trapped in the plane of Oblivion, and you will need to bring their souls back to save them.
Peryite will tell you to talk to him again once you’re prepared to go to the plane of Oblivion; this will end the dialogue. You won’t be able to come back until you finish the quest. Prepare yourself by bringing potions and selling or storing gear that you don’t need.

When you’re ready, talk to Peryite again, andhe will teleport you to the plane of Oblivion, where his followers' souls are trapped. The enemies here are leveled, butexpect a lot of fire damageand physical damage from the enemies.
There are a total of five soulsthat you need to find in the area, and all of them have enemies around them. Tosave their souls, you’ll need to ‘activate’ themby trying to talk to them. They will disappear, and a pop-up will show up saying you’ve saved their soul.

Once you have saved all five souls, the quest will update, telling you togo back to where you first came in. There you’ll find a portal that will let you leave the Oblivion plane.
How To GetSpell Breaker
Once yousave all the souls in the Peryite Daedric questand return from Oblivion, you can see that the people around the shrine can walk and talk now. Interact with Peryite’s Shrine again, and he will congratulate you for saving his followers. He will alsoreward you with theshieldSpell Breaker.
Spell Breakeris aHeavy Armorshield. It also has a constantSpell Reflect enchantment at 30 percent, making it a greatshieldto have against mages or monsters that cast spells.
