As you explore the giant map ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll constantly find minigames to get extra Knowledge Points while taking a breather from the main story. The Hidden Trails are one of these minigames, and these usually lead you to something specific on the map beside a chest.
Sometimes, these trails lead you to a viewpoint, while in other cases like the Path of The Chosen, they lead you to one of the assassination targets in a side quest. However, beating this path can be quite difficult as you can get lost easily.
Where To Find The Path Of The Chosen
If you want tofind the Path of the Chosenhidden trail in Assassin’s Creed Shadows,you’ll have to head over to the bottom province on the map called Kii. This region has the highest recommended level, and you can find the path on the eastern edge of it as you enter from Yamato.
you may see the Iseji Trails written on the map on Kii’s eastern part, and the path isdirectly to the east of where this is written on the map near the beach. If you have the map unlocked, you can teleport to the Shingu Kakurega and take the bridge to the north to find this path on your right.
How To Beat The Path Of The Chosen
Once you get to the area, you’ll see the icon of the path starting from an edge leading to the water. Get to the tree trunk on this edge andstart with grappling over to the rock with yellow markings in the middle. you’re able to then jump to the rock with the rope on it and take the rope to the tree ahead.
Climb this tree and run to the end whereyou can grapple twice in a row to reach the next ledge. verify to leave the first grapple when you’re already on the way up or Naoe will end up diving into the water. On the other side, cross the gap in the wall andgrapple once again before parkouring up some walls.
If you end up diving in the water during double grapple, you have toswim to the point near the start and you can climb back up.
Once you get to the top of these walls, you’ll see a crawl space on your left. Go through this space and climb up another wall, andthen you’ll have to squeeze through the gap in front. On the other side, go out from the left exit and scale along the cliff where you have to grapple once more.
On the other side of the grapple, go up the wall and then to the rightwhere you see the yellow marking going to the right as well. Move further up and you’ll have to go past another tree, where you can once again grapple at the end. Keep moving forward and go past another crawl space here.
Jump across the tree and keep moving past the platforms here to eventually reach a small cave with water in it. Go out of the water from the other side and you have to climb another wall.Keep climbing the wall to the left and then grapple on the right sideonce you reach the top.
Here, you’ll find the final crawl space. Go a bit forwardonce you exit this and you can find the chest to your right. It’s recommended to crouch walk here as there’s a level 40 Yamabushi Hunter on this cliff that you wouldn’t want to take on unless you’re high enough level as well.
Path Of The Chosen Rewards
After scaling up the cliff during the Path of the Chosen and unlocking the chest at the end, you’ll get Yu-no-shin’s Hood purple-tier headgear for Naoe. You canequip this by heading over to the inventory section of the main menu. Other than that, you’llalso get one Knowledge Pointand 1,000 EXP.
