What Is The Gauntlet Of Strife
The Gauntlet of Strife is a special Woven Echo in Last Epoch, designed as achallenging boss rush. In this encounter,you face seven empowered bossesin a row, each followed by a champion enemy.
Successfully defeating all bosses and champions grantstwo copies of a random Unique item. These duplicates can then be used at the Sacrificial Altar within the Echo. One copy is sacrificed to reroll the affix values of the other, which gives the player a chance to create a stronger version of the Unique item.
This mechanic is particularly helpful forrefining gear with Legendary Potential, and lets you sacrifice items for a chance at something better.
Use gear or passives thatreduce cooldownsto ensure your defensive and mobility skills are available when needed.
How To Obtain The Gauntlet Of Strife Echo
The Gauntlet of Strife Woven Echo can drop randomly from enemies withinTombs or Cemeteries of the Erased. These areas are part of the Monolith of Fate’s endgame content, and running them provides a chance for this Echo to appear as loot.
Additionally,completing certain Echoesmay reward you with the Gauntlet of Strife Echo. These rewards are part of the game’s dynamic loot system that allows you to obtain valuable items through gameplay progression.

To place the Gauntlet of Strife echo into your Timeline, you mustuse the Woven Echo device found at the end of Tombs or Cemeteriesof the Erased. Additionally, your Timeline must have a corruption level of 200 or higher.
Beating The Gauntlet Of Strife
The Gauntlet of Strife challenges you to faceseven intense boss fights in succession, each immediately followed by a champion enemy. You’ll encounter some of the most formidable foes in Last Epoch, including Pontifex Aurelus, Admiral Harton, the fearsome Primeval Dragon, Crystal Lotus, the resilient Frostroot Warden,Architect Liath, and the powerful Voidfused Forge.
Each boss has distinct mechanics. For instance, the Primeval Dragon unleashes devastating fire-based AoE attacks and requiresgood mobility to avoid damage. Admiral Harton summons minions and deals heavy physical damage;crowd control and burst damageare effective against him. Voidfused Forge can flood the battlefield with lethal void energies, and forces you to be aware of the battlefield at all times.
Use the Nemesis system tofarm low LP versions of desired Uniques, which can then be used as sacrificial items.
To survive the Gauntlet,build a balanced character with high single-target damage first, and then strong AoE abilities. Use mobility skills like Teleport or Lunge to evade dangerous boss telegraphs and damage pools. Additionally,make sure defenses, such as Ward generation, resistances, and life leech, have high numbers. The sustained pressure of these sequential fights can quickly overwhelm less prepared players.

How To Use The Sacrificial Altar
After conquering the Gauntlet of Strife, you’ll have access to the Sacrificial Altar,a very powerful endgame crafting mechanic. The Sacrificial Altar allows you toperform a Woven Offering by sacrificing one of your duplicate Uniquesto reroll the affix values of the other. All affixes will have their roll ranges randomized, but Legendary affixes will keep their existing tier.
The sacrificial item must haveequal or greaterLegendary Potential (LP)than the item you’re rerolling.
Using the Altar is perfect for optimizing gear, especially items with valuable Legendary Potential. By rerolling the affixes of a Unique, Legendary,Weaver’s Will, or Set item, you can make them work even better in your build.
Thesacrificed item is permanently destroyed, so consider what you want before you press the Reroll button.
