How To Beat Ra-Akar

Ra-Akar hasaround 160,000 Healthand anEnraged Mode once they reach 50 percent healthlike most other bosses. They havesix different attacksthey’ll cycle through as the battle goes on, with themost deadly being the swarm of Bomb Scarabsthey summon and theplayer-seeking projectiles:

Themost common attackRa-Akar will tend to use is thesix tracking projectiles, and they’re also the most dangerous, as even in Galaxite armor, three or four of themhitting you canput you at half health.

Use anOff-Hand like the Rift Lens to dodge themat the last second before running in to do damage. If youdon’t have an Off-Hand that gives you a dodgelike the Rift Lens or the Swift Feather, you canoutrun the Ancient Projectiles by constantly moving in a circle, or you can use ashield-type Off-Hand to block the attacksfor reduced damage.

You can alsoplace a few pillars scattered around the arena to hide behind, as the projectiles will break on contact with them or another wall.

Watch for the sand circles andstand in between the gaps to avoid taking damagefrom them while using ranged or magic weapons from afar, or if you’re doing melee, you can move through the gaps and reach Ra-Akar to do damage to them.

Ra-Akartends to stand still, giving youplenty of opportunities to do damage, and theonly time it won’t be safe to approachis when it’s doing itsburrowing attack, so move back andwait at the edges of the arenafor it to stop, then go back in for damage.

If theBomb Scarabs get summoned, focus on them and make sure totake them out at rangewith a weapon like the Galaxite Bow or Scholar Staff, so you can avoid their explosion.

No matter your class, the GalaxiteChakram is an amazing weapon for the fight, as it will bounce off the walls of the arena, and you may almost constantly attack Ra-Akarfrom every angle.

At half health, Ra-Akar willget Enragedand its general speed andfrequency of attacks will increase. Keep up the same strategy as before.

Once it’s dead, you’llget a Titan Chest full of several loot items, such as theScarab set and Galaxite Bars, the importantGiant Bug Brain item, and you’ll gainRa-Akar’s Soul, which gives yourmelee and ranged hitsafive percent chance of spawning an Ancient Projectile, like what the boss used.
