SpongeBob Tower Defenseis one of the most popular Tower Defense games inRoblox, gaining massive popularity since its release in 2024 and peaking in 2025. In it, you defend iconic locations from SpongeBob SquarePants using characters from the show as towers, while battling well-known villains and underwater threats.
Currently, SpongeBob Tower Defense is part of The Hunt Mega Edition event, offering you the opportunity to earn an exclusive Token by completing a special event challenge. This token can then be used to redeem unique rewards from Roblox.
How To Access The Event
Upon entering the game,you’ll notice The Hunt event logo in the top-right corner of the screen.Selecting it will open an interface explaining how to participate, including details on how to play, defend, and win.
The menu also shows that you’re able to earn anadditional bonus reward, a tower called Perch Perkins, the famous news anchor from Bikini Bottom.
How To Start The Event
Select theTeleportbutton in the event interface, or manually walk from the spawn point straight along the main road until you reach thematch teleporters.
The eventallows solo play or up to four players (one to four total), so you can team up with friends for an easier experience.
Available Towers At The Event
For this special The Hunt challenge,you will have six pre-selected towers to use.You don’t need to unlock them beforehand; the game automatically provides them when you enter the event mode.Each tower follows a different attack pattern, which is essential to understand to position them effectively for maximum defense.

How to Beat The Event Level
If you are new to Tower Defense games,it’s recommended to play with friends or experienced players. While the challenge is not extremely difficult, playing in a group makes it easier and reduces the chance of losing. However, if you have prior experience with Tower Defense mechanics, you should be able to complete the event solo without much difficulty.
How To Win On Your First Attempt
To complete the challenge efficiently, you need tounderstand the three different attack types of towers.
Tower Placement Strategy
Line Towers should be placed at path intersections or turns, where they can hit multiple enemies at once instead of just one.
Placing one tower at the front of an intersection and another at the sideallows you to control the attack order. One cantarget the first enemy, while the otherfocuses on the last enemyin the wave.
Full Towers should be positioned where they cancover the largest section of the enemy path. The more enemies they hit at once, the higher their total damage output.Splash Towers should be placed strategically, as they are the highest DPS(damage per second) towers and are most effective against bosses.
You must survive a total of15 waves,facing various enemies and three bosses. As long as you position your towers correctly, you won’t have trouble clearing the event.
Best Towers To Use At The Event
The first recommended tower to place is Band Geek Sandy. Position her at the end of the road, facing the direction from which enemies spawn. Since Sandy is a Line Tower, she will provide strong early-game control, making it easier to manage enemy waves. Once Band Geek Sandy is upgraded twice, you can start diversifying your setup with additional towers.
Another high-priority tower is Mr. Krabs, as he has the strongest target attack among the available options. His high damage output becomes crucial when stronger enemies and bosses start appearing in later waves.
