Your main goal inSchedule1isto grow your drug empire from a motel-based struggle to a vast, money-generating network that spans the city of Hyland Point. Sure, you can settle for selling a basic product to people, but to maximize your profits, you’ll want to mix that product with different ingredients.
Not only do these new strains sell for more money, but mixing ingredients imbues your product with all sorts of different effects, from making someone’s head grow twice its original size and causing their skin to turn bright green to outright poisoning them and causing their untimely demise.

Effects, Explained
Effects are aspecial modifier that a product can have, either naturally or given to it bymixing it with different ingredients, such as Banana or Iodine, inside aMixing Station.
You canonly mix one type of product and ingredient in a Mixing Station at a time, as a Mixing Station only has two slots available.

These Effectstemporarily cause different cosmetic changes and active abilitiesafter a product is smoked, and you can evenstack multiple Effects.
Up toten Effects can be added to a single product, and this is done bychaining mixes together. For example, you cantake a base productlikeOG Kush, mix it with Bananato create a strain with the Gingeritis Effect, thenmix it again with another ingredientto make a strain with Calming, Gingeritis, and a third Effect, based on what you pick.

If you want toquickly get rid of the effects of a mix on yourself, you can drink an Energy Drink to instantly remove all drug effects.
There are atotal of 34 different Effectsyour product can end up with, and they’re created usingone or more of 16 possible ingredients, all of which can bepurchased fromeither theWestern or Southern Gas Marts:
Viagor
Tropic Thunder
Besides the ingredients, all thefour weed types, likeGranddaddy Purple, come with a base Effecton them naturally, but the other potential products,Meth and Cocaine, start plain andlack a base Effect, so you’ll need tocombine them with at least one ingredientto give them one.
You canautomate the mixing process for a product by hiring severalChemistsandHandlers, who can be assigned to use the Mixing Station, transport ingredients, and move products between Mixing Stations.
Besides justproviding useful abilitiesor fun cosmetic changes, you can alsouse Effects to improve your chances of getting a customer, as everyNPC has several Effects they preferon a drug, and themore they matchup with their preferences, thehigher the chance they’ll become a contact.
