Room 8 With The Solutions Labled On Each Of The Eight Sin Bins In Blue Prince.

How To Find Room 8

The only way to get the key to Room 8 is bysolving the Gallery Room Puzzle. Thankfully, that puzzle only needs to be solved one time. Once you’ve done that, every time you draft the Gallery Room, you’ll automatically have access to the Room 8 key.

Then, it’s just a matter of finding which door the key will work in.Room 8 will only open on the eighth rowof the blueprint grid once you’ve reached rank eight.

How To Solve Room 8

Upon entering Room 8, you’ll notice that it looksexactly like the painting of one of the puzzles in the Gallery Room. There are eight bins, labeled with each of the eight (what happened to seven?) deadly sins.

The bins surround a statue in the center of the number eight lying sideways, with a bunch of pins in the top, and an animal skin on the floor.

To your left, resting each on its own shelf, are eight statues with riddles on them. To solve the puzzle, you have to use the riddles tofigure out which bin each statue goes in. It’s kind of like one of those logic puzzles you would get in math class.

“The sum of my sin

the room we are in.”

You’re in Room 8, so logically, this one goes in the bin has eight letters on it.The answer is Gluttony.

a bin with an ‘n’ within its sin.”

Many of the sins have the letter N in them, but the only one where the letter is right in the middle, and even says the letter’s name when you read it,is Envy.

“I recommend

if I am ever in

a bin far from the fin.”

This one can be tricky, but the solution is to actually place it in a bin that’s close to the picture of the shark fin on the left side of the room. you may usually guess this one through the process of elimination when most other statues are placed, but theanswer you’re looking for is Lust.

“You won’t find my bin

in between sin

for I deserve to be in

a bin down on the end.”

Luckily, this only gives you two options: Hubris or Mundanity. Another statue will go in the Hubris bin,so the dog belongs in Mundanity.

“To my chagrin

my neighbor’s sin

is written thin

to fit it all in.”

This statue is the main reason it took me as long as it did to finally solve this puzzle. The longest word on any of the bins is Mundanity, so naturally you would think that the Elephant would go in Avarice. However, Gluttony’s letters are also written thin to fit, even though it’s not as many letters. So,the answer to the elephant’s riddle is actually Wrath.

“I share a trend

with my neighbor’s sin

a letter and its twin

appear on each bin.”

This one also took me a long time to figure out, but that’s because I kept trying to put statues into the wrong bins. What you’re looking for are two bins next to each other that both have a double letter in the words. The answer here is Avarice (two As) and Mundanity (two Ns). Since the dog goes with Mundanity, the rabbit will go in the Avarice bin.

“If we spend a min or ten

lounging in the den

you’ll know which bin

I’m often in.”

The bear is the easiest of them all to figure out. He’s loungingin the den,so he goes in the Sloth bin.

“The bin I tend

to wind up in

is near the bend

in the tail of the skin.”

And last but not least, we have the monkey statue. He says he belongs in the bin near the bend of the skin’s tail. If you look at the skin on the floor, the bend in its tail points to the Hubris bin, so that’s where the monkey statue goes.

Room 8 Rewards

Once you’ve successfully placed the statues in all their correct bins, a panel will open up in the wall where the statue shelves are. Inside you’ll findtwo allowance tokens. Each token will increase your daily allowance by two, giving you an extra four coins at the beginning of each day.

The main prize, though,is The 8 Trophy, which also unlocks the trophy/achievement for solving the Room 8 puzzle at Rank 8.
