The island of Avalon is in constant peril inTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon. The Red Plague rages across the land, there’s talk of heavy political unrest and conspiracies, bandits roaming the roads, and beasts out for blood. You are but one ex-captive, blessed and burdened with a piece of King Arthur’s soul.
You’ll come across a lot of death in Avalon, both what you have to inflict on others to save yourself, and just finding the bodies of those already dead. The Lair of the Beast is one such place, filled to the brim with bodies, but not all is lost – there’s one final spark of life left.

How To Find The Questling Beast Egg
To find the Questling Egg, you’ll first need tofind the Shrine Of A Forgotten God, which is located near thesoutheastern tip of the Horn Of The Southregion.
From theEast Gate fast-travel pointnear Blood Lake, head west, thennorth to the Gallows, then head through ahole in the wallnear the scaffolding thatleads to a mountain path.
Follow thepath past the single Corpse Eaterand aDruidic Shrine,where you canoffer animal parts, such as Wolf Fangs or Pelt, for a temporary buff that gives5 percent Incoming Healing and 3 percent Critical Damage.
If yousearch the body next to the Corpse Eater, you can find the Swordmaster’s Ring, which increases your Attack Speed by two percent, or can be sold for 150 Gold.
Keep following it until youreach a fork in the road. Go right, thenup the stairsto the top, and you’ll findCaradoc sitting on a stump outsidethe cave called theLair of the Beast. Whilenot necessary, you canspeak to him for some story-related informationand about the cave nearby.
Head inside the Lair of the Beast andkeep going forwarduntil you see amassive beast dead on a rock. Go to theleft of it, and you’ll find a largenest of bodies, and theQuesting Beast Egg is in the center.
How To Hatch Qrko The Questling Beast
Toget the Questling Beast Egg to hatch, you’ll need totake 5,000 individual steps first, and there areno specifications, so you can run up the step count bywalking or running around any areaat any time of day.
You cancheck how many steps you need in total and how many you have left by looking at the description for the Questling Eggin your inventory.
When you’vereached 5,000 Steps, you’ll need toset up a bonfire and rest therespecifically forat least one hour; resting in a sleeping bag orbed found throughout the world won’t work.
Before you wake up from the rest, you’ll get acutscene of the egg hatching, netting you theA New Friend Achievement, and giving you acompanion known as a Qrko, the Questling Beast, who can beinteracted with to pet them, have them do a trick, orget them to wait at a specific spot, such as at a purchasable home.
