Runescape: Dragonwildstakes you on a journey through the Ashenfalls, where you learn to survive and become stronger until you’re ready to slay the dragons and much more. There’s a lot to learn and craft in the Ashenfalls, but playing with friends can make the journey more fun.

Playing online and inviting others to your server can seem a little complex at first, but once you figure out how to do it, you’ll be conquering Ashenfall together with your entire squad. Keep in mind that inviting others into your world will also make enemies slightly stronger.

How To Host A Multiplayer World

In order to play online, you’ll first have to select the ‘Continue With Epic Games’option as you launch the game for the first time if you’re playing on Steam. If you’ve chosen to play offline and have changed your mind later, you can head to the’Legal’ tab in the settingsand select the ‘Update EOS Settings’ option.

You won’t have to download the Epic Games Launcher to play multiplayer in Runescape: Dragonwilds.

The game will automatically verify if your Epic account exists and is linked. If it’s not, it will create a dummy account and link it on your behalf so you’re able to play multiplayer without any hassle.

After that, create a new world and select the world type. you’re able to pick eitherthe ‘Friends’ or the ‘Public’ world type to play multiplayer.

You mayput a passwordon both the Public and Friends world types. If you have set your world to Solo initially, you can start the world again and choose a world type that supports multiplayer to play online. Both the password settings and the world type can be changed laterby selecting the ‘Edit Settings’ button on the Worlds screen.

After creating a multiplayer world and joining it, you can invite your friends directly from Steam by switching to the Steam Overlay, right-clicking on a friend’s name, and inviting them to the game.

The game features afour-player limit on multiplayer, which means that up to three more friends can join you in your World.

How To Join A Multiplayer World

If you want to join a public world, you can switch to the ‘Public’ tab in the Worlds menu andsearch for a world to join. If you wish to join a friend’s world, you can have them invite you directly through Steam, or wait for them to start the world, andit will show up in the ‘Friends’ tab on the Worlds screeneventually for you to join.

If a world has a red icon under the PVP category, it means that this multiplayer world has Friendly Fire disabled. A green icon shows that Friendly Fire is enabled, and you will be able to fight against the players in that world.

Furthermore, you will join a multiplayer world with the character thatyou have currently selected from the Worlds screen. All the items that you’re carrying in your character’s backpack will be available to you in another world, alongside all the skill progression.
