Runescape: Dragonwildstakes you through the Ashenfall, where you gather your strength until you’re ready to fight and defeat dragons. However, to do that, you’ll need the resources to build stronger weapons and armor, and most of these resources require you to spend a lot of time mining ores with a pickaxe.
Mining in this game can be tedious, but as you level up the Mining Skill, you will unlock certain skills that make the process much easier and faster. Once you’ve unlocked certain skills in the Mining skill tree, you’ll be able to mine huge quantities of ore in seconds.

Best Way To Level Up The Mining Skill
The Mining skill tree requires you tomine ores to level up. The mining experience you receive is dependent on the damage dealt to the ores inside an ore node. If you’re hitting multiple ore chunks with each swing of the pickaxe, you will gain more experience per swing than only hitting one ore chunk on an ore node.
Each time you level up the Mining skill,the chance of you landing a critical hit while mining increases by one percent. A critical hit deals double damage to anything you’re mining, allowing you to gather ores much faster. The Mining skill tree also levels up while you’re mining clay, stone, or granite deposits.
You can use the Rocksplosion spell to destroy multiple ore chunks at once, allowing you to gain a ton of Mining experience immediately.
Mining Skill Unlocks
The Mining skill tree unlocks many upgrades that allow you tomake the mining process easier, either by locating nearby mining nodes or immediately destroying chunks of ore on an ore node.

Lift With Your Hips
This upgrade reduces the weight of stones, clay, and sand raw materials by 25 percent, allowing you to carry more of them without getting encumbered.

Rocksplosion
The Rocksplosion spell consumes 15x Earth and 5x Fire Runes to cast an explosion in a small area, destroying any ore, stone, granite, or clay deposits in its area of effect. This skill’s strength is dependent on the pickaxe you’re currently wielding.

Gem Prospect
This upgrade allows you to find rare gems while mining ore nodes.

Mine Crumbled Walls
This upgrade lets you bring down crumbled walls to reach new areas. This skill is especially helpful in uncovering secret passages inside the Vaults.

Detect Ore + Clay
This spell allows you to find nearby clay or ore deposits. These deposits will be marked on the map, and you will be able to spot them from a distance with ease, as they will be glowing.

Not-So-Heavy Metal
This upgrade reduces the weight of metal ores by 25 percent, and you’ll be able to carry more of these ores in your backpack.
