WhileSchedule 1might be a simulation game where you simply have to create and sell your own product, the legality of your product will constantly get you in a tussle with the police. If you get caught by one of them, you’ll not only lose all your product but also a large amount of cash.
Thankfully, once you get used to the general mechanics of how the police operate, you’ll easily be able to avoid them. There are also some tips you’re able to use to get rid of the wanted or under arrest status if they do find you.

How The Police Works
While walking on the road, you can identify the police officers quite easily with their blue clothing. There are afew ways for the police to detect you, with the main problem being random searches that trigger as you move close to a police officer. The best way to avoid this is by keeping your distance.
However, even with that, you’re bound to get searched at some point. You can also find the police barricading the western bridge, andif you go through this, you’re guaranteed to trigger a search every time. To avoid being caught here, you can keep yourillegal products on alternate slots in the inventory.
It becomesmuch easier to hold the productsat the right time if they have a gap in between.
Apart from being searched, you can also get caught if youtry to make a deal or pickpocket someone in front of the police. In these scenarios or if they catch you outside during curfew, they’ll instantly run to arrest you. You can see when a police officer is detecting you bypaying attention to the sound cue or the red question markon your screen.
The police only detects you if you’re doing any of the above in front of them, and they have no detection means behind. However,if you’re riding a skateboard, they can also detect you because of its noise.
How To Get Rid Of The Police
If you’ve been caught by the police officers and have an under arrest or wanted status, you first have to break the line of sight andthen stay hidden for a long time before they stop looking for you. If you successfully break the line of sight, you’re able to see the status on the top losing color slowly.
Once it fully runs out, the police will stop looking for you. The best way to do this is to run far away, and as soon as you see the effect fading,simply run inside one of your houses and the officers won’t check inside. However, you can also take theviolent road and strike against them.
The parking lot is a great place to lose the police as you can make themfollow you up the ramp and then jump off, which they can’t do.
The police will first try to arrest you during the “under arrest” status. However, if it converts to wanted, they’ll start using taser guns to slow you downwhile switching to pistols if you’re wanted dead or alive. You can get one extra police car chasing you with the wanted status and two of them with wanted dead or alive.
Each car has one police officer, but once you defeat them all, you caneasily wait out the effect timer and go around your business as normal.
