Starting from being a regular taxi driver in Taxi Boss onRoblox, you can grow your career to outstanding levels. Making an empire of taxi drivers in your company, driving customers in supercars, and being the president’s designated driver all require millions of dollars in cash.
There are many ways to earn such money in the game, though some are far better than others at certain points in the game - depending on how far in the game you are, your main method of earning cash may be different, and below you’ll find the best money-making method for each step in the game.
Beginner Level - Basic Customers
If you’ve just started the game and have selected your starter car, your main task right now should bedriving regular customers around. Doing so will get you some beginner money and level up your company to unlock a few cars, notably theMatsuda Mia, which will become important later in your career.
Customers have astar rating, whichdirectly scales the amount of cash you receivedepending on the distance they ask you to travel. If the customer has too high a star rating,they can’t be picked upfor a ride, though if the customer has too low a star rating,you’ll be paid significantly less. You need to find customers who areas close as possible to your vehicle’s star rating, without going overboard.
Each car has a base star rating, butthis can be upgraded in your garageby going down to the Performance tab and buying upgrades in theLuxury category. These can generally upgrade the star ratingby at least one star.
Minigames, Rushes, And Events
Once in a while, you’ll get a notificationthat a minigame is taking place. There are five minigames total, and each involvesdriving passengers in a specific line from point A to point B. This is a server-wide event, so every player on the server gets to participate, making the rewards for everyone involved higher. They’re a great way for beginners to earn money, asthere is no requirementfor a specific star rating.
Office Level Five - Time Trials Cars
Once you’ve completed a few beginner missions and gotten your office to level five, you canstart doing Time Trialsaround the map. These are challenges where, if you complete laps around specific tracks, the time it takes you to complete them willearn you appropriate medals: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
This is where the Matsuda Mia comes in, as it’s a cheap car that can get you Gold Medals (or even Platinum ones, if you’re very skilled)if you upgrade the engine. With these, you can getvastly superior carsby getting ten of a certain medal, which can then be used to drive far more impressive customers around. This will earn youtons of moneyand get you started on your company, which you should focus on next.
Getting Started On Your Company
As the game revolves around driving customers in your taxi,it’ll be your main source of incomefor a while, focusing on the highest-rated customers you can find. However, to make the most money now, and especially in the late game, you could also focus onyour passive income;your company, and its drivers.
Each driverrequires a vehicle, so getting the most basic starter cars is good enough for them now, and make sure you still have the best car at your disposal for yourself.Your drivers will passively earn money, only requiring a mechanic to fix their cars from time to time.
Office Level Ten - Call Missions And Company Drivers
As you level up your company, you’ll start havinga lot of company drivers at your disposal. As they earn you passive income, you’ll need to ensure each driver has at least one vehicle. Their income dependsonly on one factor: base star rating. Upgrading their car’s luxury, performance, horsepower, or top speedmakes no differenceto their income andcan even be a detriment, as each driver’s stats need to be upgraded to keep up with the stats of the cars.
For this reason, give any cars you aren’t directly using to your drivers, andaim for cheap vehicles with a high base star rating, if you’re looking to upgrade. Whilst this passive income is rolling, you should be focusing onCall Missions on your daily basis.
Call Missions, once unlocked, will becomeyour main source of income, apart from casual customers. Instead of paying more for getting to the destination faster, these regular clients will call you atspecific points on the map, and will have a time limit for you to deliver them to their destination. These regular clientstend to pay a lot morethan their casual counterparts, so whenever you do get calls, answer them.
None of these regulars require a star rating, so youdon’t need to invest in an expensive vehicleto take them on, thoughdo keep track of their “job” or “role”, as customers with higher-paying jobs tend to give you a lot more money, but have a far stricter time limit.
Office Level Thirteen - Contracts And Relationships
At this level, Contracts are unlocked, making casual customersnearly obsolete. Your focus should still bemainly on Call Missions, with Contracts existing as a task to doin the meantime. Each Contact will have you carrying cargo from one point to another,with no time limit.
The payout is great across the board, but many high-tier regular customers are better for general income, though, with how rarely they appear,we recommend doing Contracts while you wait.
High-tier regular customers arethe best incomeyou can actively achieve in the game, and they require good relationships with low-tier ones. The requirements for meeting high-paying regular customers are statedin the relationships menu, so even if you know the customer calling you won’t pay much,it can be worth itif another regular requires it.
Office Max Level - Maxing Out The Company
The end goal of Taxi Boss is to have so much passive income that youdon’t even need to drive regular customers. For this,you’ll need the maximum office levelto unlock the cars with the highest base star rating and all eight workers, andyou’ll need to upgrade all of your workers.
Each worker hasthree statsyou can upgrade, butyou should focus most of your attention on Tipsbefore anything else, as they directly boost your income. Experience and Skill are less important stats, asthey don’t boost your income directly, and instead allow you to give your drivers more impressive vehicles to use. The bigger investments here are the vehicles themselves, as upgrading the driver’s stats so they can drive them tends to costonly a fraction of that amount.
