Fatal Fury: City of the Wolvesis finally here, breaking the 26-year silence after Mark of the Wolves was released back in 1999. Fortunately, if you were a fan of the series back then, you will likely feel right at home with this entry, as it still retains its excellent player and character expression, while adding some new things into the mix to further strengthen it.
Which makes returning characters, such as B. Jenet, so exciting to play, as she takes full advantage of the new systems, making her feel tremendously strong, while retaining what made her so fun and unique in Mark of the Wolves, where she made her debut. If you liked her back then, you will love her now!

B. Jenet Overview
B. Jenetis back and better than ever in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, bringing hersolidrushdown-zoner hybridplaystyle along with her, making herexceptionally strong when paired with the new systemsintroduced in the game. Though with things such as her Harrier Bee no longer leaving her plus on block, shedoes feel a bit trickier to play, as you have to be deliberate and aggressiveto get the most out of her.
Her projectile is also pretty good, but not great, which can betough to deal with when facing opponents with powerful projectiles.Nonetheless, shecan still control the space in front of herself relatively well, allowing her to try andforce her opponent into a tricky situation, punishing them for making the wrong move or misreading the situation. Overall, she is afairly well-rounded character, but will require some time and effortto master.

Furthermore, she has apretty lengthy move list, which can be a problem for newcomers, especially if you aren’t familiar with the system mechanics just yet. Shecan be exceptionally strong once she gets going and is very rewardingto learn, but if this is your first encounter with the series or genre, you may struggle picking her up at first. She’snot overly beginner-friendly, but also isn’t impossibly complexto learn. She’s sort of in the middle!
B. Jenet Command List
Before dropping you into her lengthy and potent combos, let’s first go over herextensive Command List,as youwill be performing these actions throughout her combos, oftenchaining these moves together via Feints and Brakes.
We stronglyrecommend learning how to perform each of the movesin her Command List, as you willneed to be able to execute them flawlessly during combos, some of which require specific timing, which can be somewhat challenging if you aren’t used to it!

B. Jenet Tips And Tricks
Finally, to wrap things up, we would like to offer afew more tips and tricks for B. Jenetthat can help elevate her playstyle, which involves being anextremely aggressive rushdown fighter with the ability to zone out her opponents. While herBaffles(⬇️↘️➡️ LP/HP)projectile isn’t as strong as some of the other fightersfor controlling space, it’sremarkably strong in the corner, enabling her to set up lots of pressure.
For example, if you backed your opponent in the corner, using yourHP Baffles, then performing a short hop jump-in attackwith eitherj.LK or j.HKto create a verytight frame trapthat allows B. Jenet to eithergo into a Special Move on contact, such as herGulf Tomahawk(⬇️↙️⬅️ LK/HK), orland on block and attempt the loop again, go for a throw, or a wide range of other options, keeping them locked down.
She can pick up speed quickly, especially when she has her target backed into the corner. Her ability toset up okizeme pressure with her projectiles, dive kicks, and other aerial movesmakes her veryagile and hard to predict, especially when used with proper timing, spacing, and conditioning!
