Fatal Fury: City of the Wolvesis finally back after a long 26 years, with much of what made the series so beloved still intact, with just enough deviation to make it feel fresh and modern, without losing the importance of defensive options of character expression.
This shines through with characters such as Gato, who was one of the best characters in Mark of the Wolves and is even better in this game, thanks to the new system mechanics. If you loved Gato way back then, he will surely still be your main now, and that’s more or less the case for the entire cast!

Gato Overview
Gatois avery robust and fascinating characterin Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, as he is arushdown fighter with a strong neutral game, making him a force to be reckoned with from close to mid-range, which plays into hisunique stance andrekkaoptions. While he can be a lot of fun to play, hecan be very complex if this is your first timewith the series.
In most scenarios,Gato will be fishing for a confirm off a poke, allowing him tolead directly into a short and sweet combothat dealssubstantial damage. He’s alsovery strong at baiting his opponent into making mistakes, enabling him toland a Counter Hit,which can lead to massive damage with an optimal combo.
