The newDragon Ball Sparking ZeroDLC has brought some of its most interesting characters. While it may seem a little slimmer compared to the Super Hero expansion, there are some stand-out characters like Majin Kuu that make the experience worthwhile.
Just like in Daima, Majin Kuu is a bit of a joke character who’s mostly played for laughs. However, he’s got enough special moves that, if you play him correctly, you have a good chance of winning against opponents. Let’s go through how to play Majin Kuu and walk through his abilities.

Snack Time
Four Skill Points
Majin Kuu eats a snack to recover some of his health. One of the best regeneration skillsin the game.
Crescent Energy Wave
Three Ki Bars
Majin Kuu raises both his hands in the airto launch an energy blast at the opponent.
Wild Rush
Complete Ki Bar
Majin Kuu’s ultimate attack, a rush attack wherehe punches his opponent and then follows it up with an energy blast.
Majin Kuu is a unique character, but he doesn’t have any notably overpowered features and attacks that deal tremendous amounts of damage. His attack, Crescent Energy Wave, can prove to be a little difficult to dodgeas it comes from above, unlike other beam specials.

When you’re not using special attacks, you’ll want to be saving up for Majin Kuu’s Snack Time ability, which has him quickly eating a snack to regenerate health. Health recovery abilities are some of the best things to have in Sparking Zero, and Majin Kuu’s is a great addition to his moveset.
When using Majin Kuu, you should make sure to mix up the use of his supers, especially his fast-paced Majin Corkscrew attack. Kuu can also perform a stunning gut punch if you perform a heavy attack after side-stepping, which is a useful tip to remember.
Optimal Combos For Majin Kuu
While using supers can be fun, you’re able to’t rely on them completely. So, just like with every other character on the roster, it’s important that you learn how to perform some combos, too.
Combo Explanation
First, use the Majin Power skill if you have any skill points to spare, and then start the combo by attacking the opponent from behind. Now, perform two strings normally and then, in the third string, perform flying kicks and follow them up with a gut punch. After the gut punch, charge a ki blast and then perform a sweep.
Do not charge your ki blast for too long, as this way the opponent will get the time to recover and fight back.
Charge your ki blast again and thenperform an upward kick to launch the opponent in the air. Then, step forward and hit the enemy with a heavy attack. Charge your ki blast again and finish the combo with a normal string. After that,do any of your super attacks to finish the combo off with optimal damage.
Unfortunately, Majin Kuu doesn’t have a reset after the sweep, sojust do a normal combo with some of his heavy attacks. With those tricks in mind, you should be able to get a handle on one of Sparking Zero’s most unassuming characters.
