Vox Reaper Tips And Tricks

Finally, we’d like totouch on a few more tips and tricks for Vox Reaperbefore wrapping up the guide, allowing you to take a bit more advantage of hishyper-aggressive and viciousplaystyle. HisClose Normals are excellent, allowing him tocreate frame traps that can lead to him staggering his opponent, or going for his Gou Retsu Shou(⬇️↘️➡️ LK/HK) command grab, constantly locking his opponent down with hardly any room to breathe.

Additionally,Vox also has a solid Far HK,which will beused often for Counter Attacks or Wild Punishes, leading to massive damage off combos. However, youmust condition your opponent to stop jumping by anti-airing their jump-in attemptsif you want to make use of this, forcing them to engage with grounded footsies, which is Vox’s wheelhouse. Again, since he lacks projectiles, you must get creativewith how you force your opponent into specific situations.

Hiscorner pressure is also very strong, thanks to his command grab, decent normals, and his Messhou Hisetsu(⬇️ LK/HK) dive kick, which allows him tolock his opponent down and punish them for trying to escape by conditioning them throughout the encounter. He’s very strike/throw, as mentioned earlier, so youmust condition them early to expect and respect his command grab, while changing it up to catch them off guard.

Overall, Vox is anintense and overpowering characterbutisn’t too complex or complicatedto pick up and play, making himone of the best choices if you’re a newbieto the series or genre. However, if you’re looking for more keep-out tools or zoning options, you will have to look elsewhere, as that’s not his jam. Nonetheless, if you pick him up, you will have many ways to extract his potential and dominate your opposition!
