Locust Guy, also known as “KO Guy”, is the ninth character added to the game’s universe, and is perfect for players who prefer fast aerial combos, high mobility, and precise execution.
Character Description
Locust Guy has lower base health compared to other characters, with a total of 85 HP, and his abilities come with a long cooldown. Because of this, he can be difficult to use effectively if the player doesn’t fully understand his skills and advantages.
However, despite his low health and cooldown limitations,Locust Guy is a very strong character, capable of dealing high damage through his abilities and making use of his excellent mobility, which combines dashes with his unique flight ability.
Visually, Locust Guy has a striking appearance. Equipping this character modifies your avatar’s skin, adding two extra arms for a total of four, two pairs of insect wings on the back, and antennae.This distinctive look makes it easy to identify when a player has selected Locust Guy.
Main Abilities Of Locust Guy
Locust Guy’s skills are powerful and unique, introducing mechanics that enhance mobility and strong offensive capabilities. Despite having lower-than-average health,his abilities give him several advantages, including a ranged attack that reduces the opponent’s damaged output.
Clever
Cleveris a series of rapid punches directed at the opponentwith a short wind-up animation. The attack deals a total of 14 damage and has a 20-second cooldown. However, it can be blocked or interrupted, making it essential to use it at the right moment.
Black Mocus
Black Mocusis a ranged attack where Locust Guy spits a venomousprojectile that reduces the opponent’s damage output by 15 percent for ten seconds. This attack deals eight damage and has a 30-second cooldown. Like Clever,it can be blocked or interrupted, so using it strategically is key to weakening enemies before engaging in close combat.
Crushing Jaws
Crushing Jawsis a multistep attack that starts with three lunging bites. If the third bite connects, Locust Guy will grab the opponent,dragging them forward in the direction the player’s character is facing (not the camera). He then slams them onto the ground, launching them into the air. This attack deals a total of 19 damage and has a 15-second cooldown.
Wing Throw
Wing Throwis a grappling move where Locust Guy extends his arm to grab the opponent, then dashes forward and throws them in the direction the camera is facing.
If you tilt the camera upwards during the throw, the opponent will be launched high into the air, setting up potential follow-up attacks.
Flight
Locust Guy’s special ability isFlight, allowing him to move in the direction of the camera.Unlike the basic dash, this flight ability enables vertical movement, allowing him to gain altitude.
If Flight is directed towards an opponent in a ragdoll state midair,Locust Guy will accelerate towards them, closing the distance significantly. Upon reaching the target, there will be a brief aerial freeze of less than half a second, during which Locust Guy can perform up to three basic attacks or initiate Wing Throw.
This ability has a cooldown of ten seconds.
During this aerial interaction,Crushing Jaws and Clever cannot be used, as both players will begin to descend before the moves can be executed properly.
Awakening - Directed Poison
Unlike other characters,Locust Guy does not gain new abilities when activating Awakening. Instead, he performs a sting attack using his stinger.
When Awakening is activated, a stinger extends from Locust Guy’s back, launching forward in the direction of the camera.This attack injects venom into any opponent it hits, dealing ten damage per tick over time, up to a total of 80 damage.
If multiple players are hit by the attack,the total damage is divided equally among them.
Locust Guy Main Combo
Locust Guy’s main combo is one of the most powerful in Jujutsu Shenanigans, featuring the only aerial movement sequence in the game.When executed correctly, this combo deals around 60 percent of the opponent’s total health, making it a highly effective and visually impressive combination of attacks and mobility.

Game Strategy
Locust Guy is a versatile and powerful character,but he is vulnerable against opponents with strong long-range abilities. His high cooldown and lack of an Awakening make him an easy target for ranged attacks such as Piercing Blood and Supernova fromBlood Manipulator, Nue and Divine Dog fromTen Shadows, Reversal Red fromHonored One, and Dismantle and Cleave fromVessel.
His long cooldown can also make Locust Guy overly reliant on basic attacks.If he misses key abilities that initiate his combo, such as the third hit of Crushing Jaws, he can be left vulnerable to enemy attacks.
To play him effectively, it is essential totake advantage of his high mobility by using his dash and Flight ability to reposition strategically. Wait for your cooldown to reset, use Black Mocus correctly to weaken enemy attacks, and land your combos with precision to avoid unnecessary risks.
