You may not be so lucky in getting the cards you wanted by opening booster packs inPokemon Pocket. So Wonder Picks is an additional method you can use to get the card you want but even that isn’t a guaranteed method.
If you were wishing for a better way to obtain cards, you may now do so in the temporary Sneak Peek event. This gives you an additional chance to pick another card after you take a peek. This will also lower your regrets if you accidentally picked the wrong card and you have better odds of obtaining rare cards.
How Does Sneak Peek Work
The Sneak Peek feature is not a permanent feature and will only work for theduration of the event, lasting till May 14, 2025. It lets you take a peek at the card you were going to choose for theWonder Pick. Justclick any card and touch the peek buttonbelow. If it’s not a card you wanted, the event just saved you some hourglasses.
You can thenpick any other card on the screenand, if you are lucky, you will have your desired card. You can use it as many times as you likewhen it’s active in the event. It’s your chance to obtain as many ex and rare cards as you can without wasting your collected Wonder Stamina.
The game mentions that there is an “opportunity” to trigger the Sneak Peek in Pokemon Pocket, so it might not be active every time during the event.
Wonder Picks can get quite frustrating as you are barely able to obtain the card you want. Usually, youonly get one chance at choosing a cardafter a shuffle. Then, from the five cards before you, there is a minimum chance of getting your desired one. However, you will have ahigher chance of obtaining high-rarity cardsin the Sneak Peek event.
You have a 20 percent chance of picking a card during the usual Wonder Picks, but Sneak Peek increases that chance to 40 percent.
