If you want more reactive and genuine expressions in your Zois, then facial capture is worth trying out. We’ll show you how to set everything up and get the ball rolling so your city can be filled with expressive Zois. Here’s everything you need to know about the facial capture feature and how it works in InZoi.

What Is Facial Capture?
Facial capture sounds like it would be used toput your face on a Zoi, and that’s partially true. Within InZoi, you can use the facial capture feature totranslate the movements of your faceonto the controlled Zoiin real time.
It’s a bit tricky to set up at first, as you’ll need toinstall an app and link your deviceto the game, but after that, it’s a breeze.
Facial capture isonly available on iOS devicesat this time.
How To Use Facial Capture
Facial capture can be initiated by clicking on the icon at the top menu, which you’ll first find in the character creator after selecting a new game. From there, you’ll have apopup prompt with instructionson how to proceed.
Your iOS device and InZoi must beconnected to the same Wi-Fi signal, so double-check if they’re on the same one before proceeding.
Scan the QR code tofind the Live Link Face app, then download and open it. Select theLive Link Capture Modeand open the settings menu while the application is running.
In the settings menu,head to the Streaming category and select Live Link. Choose to add a new target, thenenter your IP addressinto the app.
InZoi will read off your IP address for you as you proceed through the tutorial popup.
The final steps involve connecting the devices andselecting the desired source. If successful, the popup will let you know, and you canclose out of the menuto see how your expressions are portrayed on the controlled Zoi.
You canturn off facial capture by disconnecting the deviceat any time.
How To Use Facial Capture In-Game
You canstart using facial capture at any pointin-game by selecting thecapture icon at the topof the screen. From there, proceed with setting up thefacial capture connectionto access your Zoi’s expressions.
The icon may be elsewhere on your screen if you customized your UI!
From here, you canuse your face to manipulate your Zoi’s, allowing for morefreedom of expressionand genuine reaction to the events unfolding around them.
Benefits To Using Facial Capture
Thebenefits to using facial capture are mostly cosmetic, as they don’t impact gameplay as of yet. However, you’re able to use this feature tomake more unique images and immersive play.
If you go on a date or find something new, you cansee your real-time expression displayedon your controlled Zoi.
The Themed Studio can be a good place to test this out forcapturing fun pictures and memoriesof your Zoi. Especially when you can use these tools together to make unique photos that can beadded to billboardsaround town.
