One of the unique time-limited features is the Cursed Storm, a special weather event introduced during the Cults Curse. This mysterious storm changes everything - it significantly increases your experience gain and provides a unique opportunity to catch a fish with the Cursed mutation.

The Cursed Storm can occur naturally at the start of any in-game day while the Cults Curse event is live, but there’s also a way to trigger it manually using a Cursed Storm Totem. In this guide, we will explain in more detail how Cursed Storm works, how to detect or trigger it, and what you need to do.

How To Summon A Cursed Storm

There are two ways to activate the Cursed Storm in Fisch - you can eitherwait for it to spawn randomlyat the beginning of a day during the Cults Curse event, orsummon it manually with a Cursed Storm Totem.

Let’s start with the first method. While the Cults Curse event is active,there’s a small chance that the Cursed Storm will begin automatically when a new day starts. If this happens, you will see a server-wide notification announcing the storm and the location of the Cursed Storm Pool near a random island where the effects are active.

Once it begins,the storm lasts until the end of the in-game day.

Be aware thatno countdown or indicator is showing when it ends, so make the most of it while it’s active.

Now, if you don’t want to wait, summoning the storm yourself is better. To do that, you mustuse a Cursed Storm Totem. This item is only available for purchase during the Cults Curse limited-time event and can be used even after it ends. To get it,go to the island south of the docks in Moosewood, at these coordinates: 338, 136, 343.

There, talk to the Brother Silas NPC, and he will teleport you to the Cult Curse room. Once in the Cult Curse room, go to thefollowing coordinates: 760, 2130, 16965. There you can purchase the Cursed Storm Totem for1,000,000C$. Afterpurchasing the totem, you canuse it at any time to summon a Cursed Storm manually.

Keep in mind that after the Cults Curse event is over,you won’t be able to get into the Cult Curse room and buy these totems anymore, so buy them early enough because it won’t be possible afterward.
