InZoiruns on a karma system, where the Zois you guide are responsible for fostering positive relationships to create a thriving community. Acts of kindness and generosity are far more effective than violence or bullying. However, how you choose to play the game might not be as simple as it sounds.
No matter the path you take, it will open up new interactions and actions for your Zoi, all influenced by your Karma level. And if you’ve been a little mischievous? Well, why not stir things up a bit and sprinkle some gossip around - after all, who doesn’t love a little drama?
InZoi is currently in Early Access and the gameplay will change over time. We’ll update this guide as the game changes.
How To Start Rumors
Before anything,you need to havea Zoi with low Karmato start spreading rumors. It’s much easier to have bad Karma than good Karma since allyou need to do is act as a menace,causing trouble and violenceto both people and the public.
You can achieve this bychoosing all the bad dialogue optionswhen speaking to other Zoi. These dialogue optionsare marked with a red icon. You can even escalate things bypunchingorfighting them.
All of this will lower your Karma,and the lower your Karma,the more options become available to you, like destroying vending machines, stealing money from cashiers, and even robbing ATMs.
You can check your Karma level from the Zoi Card by pressing ‘O’ on your keyboard.
Once you reach a low Karma level, you can start spreading rumors. To do this,click on your Zoi, scroll down to theSmartphone option, and click on it.
This will bring up all the available actions you’re able to perform from your phone, but we’re looking for these two:
Simplyclick on either option, andyour rumor will start circulatingon social media and among other Zoi.
After some time, your rumor may either reach more people and gain attention or get ignored, though this seems to be tied to how bad your Karma is, but we’re not entirely sure.
After you spread your first rumor,you’ll start getting text messages from Bubbly. These updates will let you knowhow your rumors are progressingand whether they’re getting any attention.
There isn’t much real value in spreading rumors unless you just want to do it for the fun of it. In case you’re aiming for a Terrible Karma status, keep the rumors going.
