Clair Obscur: Expedition 33has 55 Achievements and Trophies to unlock, giving you plenty of reasons to explore the game’s darkly enchanting world. While the game’s focus is definitely on its story, there’s a lot of endgame and postgame content to explore as well. That’s all the more reason to go hunting for one hundred percent completion!
If you’re planning your run, or just want a list of awards to reference as you go, we’ve got all of the games Achievements and Trophies, as well as tips to point you toward unlocking them, below.

Story Achievements/Trophies
These are awarded for progressing through the main story. If you complete the game, you’ll get all of them even if you skip all of the optional content.
Defeat either Visages or Sirene.

Defeat both Visages and Sirene.
Win the final battle and complete the game.
Upgrade And Leveling Achievements / Trophies
These are awarded forleveling up your team and enhancing your gear.
Expeditioner
Have any character reach Level 33.
You should be able to unlock this award just by playing the campaign.
Trailbreaker
Have any character reach Level 66.
As long as you’re taking the time to explore and do side quests, you’re able to easily get your team to Level 66 in Act 3.
Survivor
Have any character reach Level 99
You’ll need to grind for this one, as even the game’s toughest enemies will only take you as far as 85-90 or so.
Lumina
Upgrade any character’s Lumina Point total via Colours of Lumina.
you may spend Colours of Lumina with the Curator once he joins you at camp.
Weapon Upgrade
Upgrade a weapon.
You need to spend Chroma Catalysts with the Curator to upgrade weapons for this award; upgrading weapons by finding them as loot doesn’t count.
Weapon Mastery
Upgrade a weapon to Level 33.
You’ll need a Perfect Chroma Catalyst to bring a weapon to the maximum level.
Feet Collection
Unlock every Skill for Monoco.
Keep Monoco in your main party as you explore new areas to ensure that he gets Skills from defeated Nevrons.
Plane, Train, And Submarine
Gain the ability to swim, dive, and fly with Esquie.
Build up Verso’s relationship with Esquie in camp until he gives you a quest to visit Francois in Act 3.
Lune
Reach maximum relationship with Lune.
Build up Verso’s relationship with Lune until she asks for help finding the remnants of Expedition 46 in Act 3. you’re able to unlock her final Gradient Attack once the quest is complete.
Maelle
Reach maximum relationship level with Maelle.
Build up Verso’s relationship with Maelle until she asks for help finding Alicia. Complete the quest and talk to Maelle back at camp.You must tell Maelle the truth when she asks her questionor you’ll be locked out of the Achievement/Trophy and Maelle’s ultimate attack.
Sciel
Reach maximum relationship level with Sciel
Build up Verso’s relationship with Sciel by repeatedly speaking with her at camp.When Sciel tries to seduce Verso, accept her advances. There’s no quest for Sciel’s ultimate Gradient Attack; just follow her storyline to its conclusion.
Monoco
Reach maximum relationship level with Monoco.
Built up Verso’s relationship with Monoco until he asks for help with a pilgrimage to the Sacred River. Defeat Golgra there withjust Verso and Monocoto unlock Monoco’s ultimate Gradient Attack.
Esquie
Reach maximum relationship level with Esquie.
You’ll get this alongsidePlane, Train, and Submarine, as well as Verso’s ultimate attack.
Side Quest Achievements / Trophies
These are awarded forcompleting optional objectives and finding collectibles throughout the game.
A Peculiar Encounter
Defeat the Mime during the Prologue.
Look for the Mime in an alcove off ofthe market square. You’ll need toparry its attacksuntil Gustave can break its wall with an Overcharge.
Go to the campfire and choose"Check up on the others."
Paint Cage
Open any Paint Cage
All Paint Cages have three locks that you need to shoot. Look forareas of distortionnearby. Sometimes they’re hidden around corners or inside breakables.
Lost Gestrals
Find every Lost Gestral.
There are 9 in total, andall of them are on the Continent Map.
Carreau Parfait
Defeat the Chromatic Petank.
The Chromatic Petank is in the large forest near the southeast corner of the Continent Map. you’re able to only get there by flying, restricting this award to Act 3.Chase it south, across the sea,and along the opposite coastto corner it at the magnet at the far end of the trail.
Aiding The Enemy
Help all the White Nevrons.
Blanche, the final White Nevron,attacks you if you’ve killed any White Nevrons, including the one that asks to die. Be sure to spare all of them.
Visit every Gestral Beach and Arena throughout the world.
Sprong
Defeat Sprong.
Sprong is the giant monster in the ocean; you’ll see it long before you’re strong enough to fight it, so come back in Act 3 before trying to bring it down.
A On
Defeat Serpenphare.
Serpenphare is the flying serpent over the first island. You can’t reach it until you gain the ability to fly in Act 3, but even then you’ll want to level up before trying to fight it.
Endless
Complete the Endless Tower.
You’ll need to have mastered fighting every type of Nevron. You get as many attempts as you need at each trial, though, and heal between fights.
Clea
Defeat Clea.
Clea is in the Flying Manor northwest of Forgotten Battlefield. She’s very tough, so don’t try to fight her until you’re at least Level 80.
Peace At Last
Defeat Simon
Simon is in the Abyss below Renoir’s Drafts, the undersea caves that you can reach once Esquie learns to dive. He isthe hardest boss in the game.
Combat Achievements / Trophies
These are awarded for specific feats during combat, usually requiring mastery of each character’s fighting styles.
Professional
Win a boss fight without any character taking damage.
Parry or dodge every attack, strike aggressively to defeat the boss as quickly as possible, and use Shields to prevent damage.
Time To Spill Some Ink
Break an enemy.
You need to use aBreaking Attacklike Overcharge or Fleuret Fury on an enemy whose Meter is full - just any attack won’t do.
Overcharge
Have Gustave Break an enemy with Overcharge while his meter is at 10.
You can getTime To Spill Some Inkat the same time, as early as the Mime fight in Lumiere to also getA Peculiar Encounter.
Perfect Flow
Have Lune empower spells with Stains four turns in a row.
Set up her Skills to generate Stains that will feed the next one;when in doubt, Light Stains are wild.
Synergy
Have Maelle use Percee in Virtuose Stance against a Marked enemy.
Swift Stride is the easiest way to get into Virtuose Stance for most of the game.
Maximization
Have Sciel consume 20 stacks of Foretell from an enemy during Twilight.
The Foretell doesn’t have to have been applied during the same Twilight. Use Moon Skills that consume all the Foretell on their target in one go rather than one at a time.
Perfection
Have Verso reach Perfection Rank S.
Using Assault Zero repeatedly with Gaulteram equipped is the fastest and safest way to get to S, unless you’re very confident in your parrying abilities.
Wheel Control
Have Monoco use Skill that match the Mask on his Bestial Wheel four turns in a row.
Be sure that Monoco is equipped withat least one Skill for each Mask, ideally cheap ones so that he can cast them regardless of how much AP he has.
Chroma Proficiency
Use any character’s Level 3 Gradient Attack.
Level 3 Gradients are unlocked byreaching the maximum relationship level with them in camp.Verso’s is unlocked by befriending Esquie.
