Quick Links
Just like the previous games,Stalker 2has multiple endings that you can get. However, picking the ending you want is more straightforward than the earlier titles. The game has a lot of choices that you can pick in the main story missions alone, but only a few affect the ending that you’ll get.
If you’re looking for a specific ending, then you’ll need to know what missions matter and what endings you can get. Some of the choices in the main mission can look important, but they’re not when it comes to the ending.

What Main Missions Effect The Ending
Three main missions affect the ending, and you’ll need to keep an eye out for them if you don’t want to mess it up. Some of the endings only need 2 of them, and those are the first two missions in the sequence.
These are all the main missions and choices that will impact the ending:

The main story mission, ‘Down Below,’ is a point of no return for the game and happens after ‘Subtle Matter’ and ‘Dangerous Liaison.’ Remember to finish up any side missions you want to complete before going through with that main mission.
Skif / Kaymanov Ending
Dr. Kaymanov believes that the zone shouldn’t be contained, destroyed, or controlled and that it should be free to do what it wants and grow. Many factions have tried to do what they think is best for the Zone but have never tried to see what the Zone wants. Skif also realizes this on this path and embraces the idea at the very end.
Here are all the choices you’ll need to get this ending:

Strelok Ending
Strelok is the main protagonist of one of the games and wants to protect and keep the zone as is. Throughout the games, many factions have tried to control the zone for themselves. Strelok believes that the zone should be protected, and he will do anything to keep the zone away from those who wish to destroy or exploit it.
Spark Ending
Spark is the faction led by Scar, who believes in the existence of the Shining Zone, where no one has to die anymore. He believes the shining zone is where people can live forever.
Ward Ending
The Ward believes the Zone is a dangerous place and that it needs to be contained or outright destroyed. SIRCAA, on the other hand, believes that they can unlock technological breakthroughs by exploiting the zone. If you side with them they promise Skif a new house, but what will they do with the technology of the Zone?
