Progressing inKoirais all about using the things in the world around you to complete puzzles. Early in the game, your little dog companion will ask you to make a snowman, but it’s not clear exactly what you need to do.
At the same time, there’s an opportunity to build more than one snowman to create a family and unlock the Happy Snow Family Trophy/Achievement. It’s worth doing at the earliest opportunity, when you’re first introduced to snowmen and how to build them.
How To Make A Snowman
Once you get to the location in the screenshot above, when your dog first asks for a snowman to be built, you just need towalk up to the balls of snow and roll themto make them bigger.
After rolling a big one,roll another and press X if you’re on PlayStation (A on Xbox)to pick it up, thenX/A again to put it on top of the first ball.
Next,throw a snowball at the tree to knock the top hat down- putting that on top of the two balls of snow. Then,grab a carrot from the area to the left of the treethe top hat was on, to the left of a tower of stones. Then put it on the snowman you’re building.
Finally, you need two sticks for the snowman’s arms.Head up and left from the main treeand there will be a load on the ground. Place two on the snowman and it’ll be complete.
If you put the first hat on your dog’s head, like I did, there’s a third hat by the tree in the top left of the area you’re in.
Happy Snow Family Trophy/Achievement
At this same time, you can complete the Happy Snow Family Trophy/Achievement challenge bybuilding two snowmen right next to each other. First, roll two balls of snow next to the snowman you’ve already made.
Another hat is just left of the tree the top hat was on, to the left of a tower of stones and where you found the carrot.Put that on the second snowman and head directly up from the central treeto find another carrot.
Grab two more sticks from where you got the ones you found for the first snowman and place them on its friend. You will now have two snowmen, and the trophy or achievement will pop if you’ve made them close to each other.
