With dozens of lively characters inDisney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll almost never run out of things to do. Welcoming new villagers is the name of the game, as you design the perfect utopia for iconic Disney and Pixar characters. However, not every Villager will make the moving process easy.
One such scoundrel is the Cheshire Cat, who always does things on their own terms. Getting them to stay put or make sense is nigh impossible, but they still have a role to play in the village. We’ll show you how to welcome them so you can enjoy evening strolls with your feline friend in your village.

How To Unlock The Cheshire Cat
Tomeet the Cheshire Cat, you’ll need to open the Alice in Wonderland Realm within the Dream Castle. It willcost you 15,000 Dreamlight, but you can’t enter right away.
Rather than go through the door, you’llchase a white rabbit around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadowuntil you stumble down a rabbit hole into Wonderland.
Wonders of Wonderland Quest
Once you enter Wonderland,you’ll meet Alice. Accompany her through the forest only to be separated. This is where the Cheshire Cat comes in,offering advice on how to reunitewith your new friend.
He’ll send you around the forest on several errands tofind smiles among the trees and ingredientsto cook up More Time. Once you do that, he’ll share the secret abouthow to escape the forestso you can find the Queen’s Maze (and hopefully Alice)!

The Queen’s Maze Quest
Once in the maze,observe the white rabbitdodge the guards and follow its lead. You’ll need toactivate several leversto open gates throughout the Queen’s Maze until you reach the end.
Beware the guards! If they catch you, you’ll besent back to the start. Instead, look to the hedgesfor secret routesto reach the Queen of Heart’s tea table.

Teeny, Tiny Problems Quest
After you reunite with Alice at the tea table, you’ll need toconsult with the Cheshire Caton how to help Alice regain her size. He gives you several instructions tohelp the other residents of Wonderlandin the forest, each needing a specific task completed.
Once you have all the materials, you cancraft the Contrary Perfumethat will help Alice grow again. From there, you’ll need to use the perfume toexplore the tea table in search of animal cage keys. With the keys in your inventory, you canhelp Alice free the animalsthe queen has captured.

Leaving Wonderland Quest
Before you may leave Wonderland, Alice will have youclean up after the animals and paint the white roses redso the Queen of Hearts won’t notice the damage so much. Afterwards,meet with Aliceat the start of the forest andchat with the Cheshire Catabout how to make the door back to the Valley appear.
Solve the mushroom puzzleanduse the Contrary Perfume on the doorso you can head home. Once there,build a house for Aliceand welcome her to the village. She’llsend you back to get the Cheshire Cat, who leaves avibrant trail of pink footprintsbefore disappearing entirely.

Mannequin Madness Quest
Finally, after welcoming Alice to the Valley and losing track of the Cheshire Cat,head to Scrooge’s Store. Inside, you’ll notice lots of trash anda smiling mannequin dressed in pink and purple– the Cheshire Cat’s signature colors.
Talk to Scrooge about the situation, thenhelp him cleanup the store. Afterwards, seek out Alice for help in your investigation. Return to the store andpursue the mannequinas it teleports around the shop before leaving behind a mysterious coupon.
Redeem the itemsin Scrooge’s store that appeared with the coupon andcheck back in with Aliceto complete the quest.
It seems the Cheshire Cat will appear in his own time, but for now, the quest is over.
Chaos In The Kitchen Quest
After the previous quest,head into Remy’s restaurantto find a pink mess everywhere. Help Remy clean up his business, thenmake a new delicious treatinspired by the mischievous cat.

Head back outside toclean up some more, thenconfront the Cheshire Catinside Chez Remy to complete the quest.
Cat Tree Catastrophe Quest
Finally, aftercompleting all the aforementioned quests, talk to Moana in the Valley. There arenew fish around the beachthat need to be fished out.Take them to Aliceto see if you’re able to finally capture the Cheshire Cat’s attention.

Inside Alice’s house, you’llhelp the Cheshire Cat locate a mini version of his tree. You’ll have toplace it in the villageto officially welcome him and unlock him as a villager.
How To Unlock More Of The Cheshire Cat’s Quests
The Cheshire Cat isunlike the other villagers.He won’t follow you as closely, nor will he be visible at all times. Additionally, he doesn’t have a proper house–he simplyhangs out in his treewhen not with you.
Thankfully, hanging out with the Cheshire Cat works the same way as it does for other villagers.Give him gifts, assign him a role in the village, and have daily discussionsto increase your friendship with him.
As youincrease your friendship,you’ll unlock new quests. At level ten, you cancomplete the Cheshire Cat’s final friendship questand unlock his best friend rewards!
