Every zombies map is unique in its own way, and each one has a story to tell. As the zombies squad inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6hunts down the truth behind the Sentinel Artifact, their journey leads them to the Shattered Veil mansion, where they are faced with a new adventure and a new challenge.
Like previous maps, Shattered Veil has its own secrets and hidden Easter eggs to complete, and of course, there are the exclusive wonder weapons that you can obtain here. While Citadelle des Morts had variations of elemental swords, Shattered Veil not only brings back the Ray Gun Mark 2 but also introduces its upgrade and different variations that you can get.
How To Get The Ray Gun Mark 2
The first step you need to take is toget your hands on a Ray Gun Mark 2in order to upgrade it. There are two main ways to obtain it.
The first way is byobtaining it through the Mystery Box. However, this is not a guaranteed method, and you might end up losing more Essence than you’re able to afford without getting it.
The second way is tocomplete the necessary steps to get it for free from the Armory room, where you can obtain the Severed Hand andunlock the Ray Gun Mark 2.

Now the second thing that you need toget your hands on is an Empty Canisterandthere are three waysthat you can obtain it from the Shattered Veil map.
How To Obtain An Empty Canister
First Empty Canister Location
You can obtain a canister byshooting the blue crystalsfound around the Shattered Veil map, butyou can only shoot them with the Ray Gun Mark 2.
There are four in total, and one of them will drop the empty canister:
Second Empty Canister Location
For the second canister, you need toobtain the LT53 Kazimir grenade, which can be crafted at the Crafting Tablefor 1,500 Salvage.
However, there’s a free one available in the service tunnel area near the broken car,where a dead zombie will be holding one.
Once you obtain the LT53 Kazimir, head to the area where the Double Tap machine is at the back of the mansion, andgo to the patio below it.
There, you should find ahole in the wall. Throw the Kazimir grenadeat the entrance, andit will pull the canisteryou need from there.
Third Empty Canister Location
The third and final canister requires you toget your hands on a few Combat Axesand make your way to the underground level.just to the left where you fought the Doppelghastthat gave you the Severed Arm.Outside of the map, you’ll see some valves andtwo pipes labeled A and B.
What you need to do is overload these pipes in the right order.
In order to get the right order, make your way towhere SAM is, and there will be a Crafting Table nearby.To the left of the table, there will bea pod, and to the left of that, you’ll finda letter, A or B. Take note of this and then head back to the pipes.
What you need to do isthrow the Combat Axe at the valve in the middle first,and then if the letter you got is A,target the valve at the A path above; if it’s B,target the valve at the B path at the bottom.
Doing this will overload the pipes, and it will triggerthe pod we saw earlier to crack, and you’ll need touse a lethal to explode it. This will drop the final Empty Canister.
Note that any of these canisters can be used for any of the available upgrades, as they are not tied to a specific one.
How To Upgrade The Ray Gun Mark 2 Into The Wraith Fire Variant
Head to the area where the Speed Cola machine is, and just in front of it, there will bea machine where you can place the canister.
Doing so will spawn an Abomination, butyou do not need to kill it. Instead, we will use it to complete this step.
Around the area,there will be three smaller rocks, and in each of these rocks, you need tolure the Abomination to light them up using its beam attack,then stomp on them to make them float.
Simply lure it andhide behind the rock. If the Abomination hits the rock with itsbeam,it will turn blue. If itstompson the rock,it will float.
ensure that all three rocks are lit before forcing the Abomination to stomp on them.
Once done,a portal will appear in the middle, starting a lockdown section whereyou need to protect the portalat all costs for a set period of time.
For this section, you can usea Mutant Injection or a Chopper Gunnerto make things easier.
After the lockdown is complete,head back to the canister machine. Now, you will be able to pick up theExplosive Canister.
Take this to theworkbench in front ofthe Armoryin the service tunnel.
This will place the canister there, and you will be able toupgrade the Ray Gun Mark 2 to its W variant, the SMG version, also known as the Wraith Fire.
