Your main source of HP recovery inMandragoracomes in the form of Health Flasks. This reusable item has a finite number of charges before it depletes, and once it’s empty, you’ll need to reset the zone or travel back to town for a refill. Other forms of health recovery exist, but none are quite as reliable or potent as the Health Flask. It’s the only form of HP recovery that is accessible to all classes and can be refilled at no cost.
Upgrading your flask is critical to ensure success in later dungeons. Despite how important this is, the game never mentions that upgrading your flask charges is even possible. Today, we’ll be covering how to upgrade your Health Flasks in Mandragora and give a breakdown of where you can find a few crystal flasks to upgrade them with.
How To Upgrade Your Health Flasks
Health Flasks can beupgraded through crystal flasksfound in the open world. If you find one of these, bring it to Yrsa in the Witch Tree hub to upgrade your flask. Every crystal flask you find will increase your maximum charges by one; the HP restored remains static.
Finding Yrsa
You’ll find Yrsa in the Gravseed Swamp area just outside the Dilapidated Mausoleum dungeon. Speak with her until she relocates to the Witch Tree. Once relocated, walk east of spawn to visit her shop.
Increasing your HP charges is critical for completing dungeons later in your playthrough. As enemy damage significantly increases, you’ll want more flask charges to increase how many mistakes you can make in combat before perishing. Finding as many of these crystals flasks as possible is recommended.
Flask Upgrade Locations
We haven’t found every crystal flask in our playthrough, but we’ve found a couple that should help you on your journey. Both locations are listed below.
Flask Upgrade #1
This flask is located in theOld Wickham Monasterytowards the end of the dungeon. Before entering the portal to enter the Wickham Enclave, backtrack to the previous room and look for a way up. THe flask will be in a chest next to a ladder.
Flask Upgrade #2
You’ll find this flask upgrade in theGravseed Swamp.When entering the zone, climb up to the upper floors of the ruins and look for a chest you’re able to open. It’s to the left of the Dilapidated Mausoleum dungeon.
