Photo Mode has finally arrived inBaldur’s Gate 3with the long-awaited final patch. Now, players will be able to capture their characters' good sides and take out their frustration on enemies with a well-placed moustache.

But before you start filling out your adventure album, you’ll have to navigate the new menus and tools available to you in Photo Mode. Thankfully, these tools are easy to master once you know where to look.

How To Turn On Photo Mode

Photo Mode can be turned on at almost any point by:

How To Use Photo Mode: Available Modes

How To Pose Characters In Photo Mode

You canpose any character in your party in Photo Mode, including familiars and conjured spirits (we couldn’t have a Photo Mode without Boo!). However, youcannot move the positions or poses of:

If you don’t want Withers photo-bombing your shots when he refuses to join them, you cantoggle off the view of non-party characters by clicking the boxes at the top of Character Settings.

Withers is removed from a Photo Mode picture with the Character Settings in Baldur’s Gate 3.

While posing on furniture is not exactly ideal, you can cleverly make the impression of your characters on top of items or furniture by moving them up or down on the Y axis and positioning your camera just right.

If you want to change which character you’re editing, you canclick the drop-down menuat the top of Character Settings. Keep in mind thatthis does not change your camera position.While selected, you can change a character’s expression and pose.

To line up characters in a shot the way you like, we recommend toggling on the Camera Grid option in the Camera Settings tab.

You cannot normally equip your weaponin Photo Mode; to show your weapon, you musthold it when Photo Mode is activated,but keep in mind that changing your character’s pose will put your weapon away. However,you canequip your instrument and change to camp clothesfrom the Photo Mode options at the bottom of the Character Settings.

How To Change The Lighting And Background In Photo Mode

You cannot change the background location while in Photo Mode.To change your background,you must do one of the following:

To change the lighting and contrast, you canmake adjustments in Post-Processing.The color of the general lens lighting and the light of the vignette can bechanged in their dropdown menus(though the vignette will not appear if not moved off zero percent opacity).

How To Add And Remove Stickers

Stickers can beadded in the final Sticker tab. To remove them, you will have toselect the sticker in the Sticker menuandpress the trash can iconin the top right corner of the sticker edit field. To edit their positions, you mustfirst click on the sticker icon of choicein the sticker menu before making any changes.

Can I Use Photo Mode With Friends?

Yes, you’re able to use Photo Mode while in co-op. However,only the host can use Photo Mode.During split-screen play,the other player will lose access to their half of the screen, but their character will still be able to appear and be posed in pictures.

Likewise, online multiplayer photo mode can similarly only be used by the host, andjoining players' games will be pauseduntil the host is finished.

Where Do I Find Pictures Taken In Photo Mode?

If you do not take a picture on PC with F12 (which will send your picture to the Steam library),your pictures will be saved in one of the following locations:
