My Hero Academiais the story of Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers, called Quirks, in a world where nearly everyone else is. However, when he inherits the Quirk of the number one hero, All Might, Midoriya is given the chance to attend U.A., a high school that trains students in the ways of the hero.
The story follows Midoriya and his friends and classmates as they learn more about their own powers and what it takes to be a hero. My Hero Academia has a number of seasons adapting its manga, including a few movies and OVA episodes strewn about. My Hero Academia: You’re Next
Season 8will be the final season, and is set to air inOctober 2025.
A spin-off series called My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is currently airing (at the time of writing), which follows a completely different set of characters and occursbefore the start of the main show, so you can technicallywatch it whenever you wanttowithout being spoiled. That said, there may bereferences or lore that would make more sense if you’ve watched the main show first.
