How To Unlock Election Rallies

Midway through Act Two of your quest, you’llvisit the mines near the center of town. Once you’ve done this quest,Pinky will prompt you to talk to Mr. Sato about your experience at the mines, and what to do next.

From there, you’ll be prompted tohead to town hall to speak to Mr. Sato. Once you do so, Mr. Sato will explain to you not only the nature of the mines but allow Michi totrigger election rallies to start taking place, after Michi suggests that Pinky run for office.

How Election Rallies Work

Once you drive up to the spot in question, you’ll be prompted with some information about the rally in question, namely, how likely it is you will win.

Election rallies are relatively straightforward andwork like normal dialogue trees.

Once you begin a rally,Mayor Maeda will offer his political stance, and Pinky will be offered a chance to refute it.

She has some standard repliesthat are always available.

These dialogue prompts rarely win over the crowd, and typically, you’ll want to look for the fourth dialogue option, which usually has something to do with the specific neighborhood you’re in on Kaso-Machi.

These fourth dialogue options have to be unlockedthrough various means.

How To Win Election Rallies

There are a few ways to gain access to these additional dialogue optionsand increase your odds of winning.

The more you explore the island, talk to your neighbors, ask about the Kyushu Rejuvenation Fund, and even complete town and main quests, the more information Pinky and her fellow townsfolk will give Michi.

Each time you successfully win an election rally, Pinky’s Mascot Support Hero card will be upgraded, and her odds of winning the election against the mayor will go up!

In doing so, these dialogue options become available, allowing Pinky to refute the mayormore directly. Eventually, you’ll position Pinky to win the election on Kaso-Machi in a landslide!

If you begin an election rally and fail, you’re able to always come backand try again. However, once you succeed, even marginally, the election rally will disappear from the map.
