Indy Has Never Looked Better

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, MachineGames noted that Indiana Jones will showcase “advanced features that leverage the console’s capabilities.”

As is usually the case with PS5 games, The Great Circle will take advantage of the DualSense’s features. For example, if Indy is hurt, the DualSense will pulse red, or if enemies are searching for you, then it’ll flash yellow. That, combined with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for the whip and combat, will make the game more distinct.

Perhaps most noteworthy is the fact that whether you’re on a base PS5 or PS5 Pro, the game will be a “stable” 60fps. It’ll also have frictionless loading either way. If you are on a Pro, though, the game will have native 4K resolution, plus ray racing on top of the 60fps.

As a final note, the game will feature Community Game Help, with players being able to access “tips” from other gamers to help them get through some of the more tricky sections.

When the gamelaunched on the Xbox Series X and S, it targeted 60fps, though there were some dips, according to Digital Foundry. Additionally, its resolution seemingly maxed out at 1800p on the Series X and about 1080p on the Series S. That the base PS5 will have a “stable” framerate is rather a big deal, and coupled with the 4K capability on the Pro seemingly makes the wait worth it for PlayStation owners.
