Journey Together is a landmark set in thePokemon TCG, as it ushers in the return ofvaluable Trainer cards to collect,featuringbeloved trainers, like N.Ushering in a new card style helps to mark a new series of sets in the Pokemon TCG, as sets that followed like Heatwave Arena and Destined Rivals continued to include Trainer and Pokemon duos.
The Pokemon TCG has been waiting for this moment for years. Combining trainers and Pokemon onto one card is unusual, but it is one of the TCG’s oldest and most beloved gimmicks, originating invaluable sets like Gym Challengeand Gym Heroes. Grass
While notable Pokemon like Durant and Amoonguss dominated the VGC, their reign in the TCG isn’t as impressive. However, Amoonguss ex, Meowscarada, and Accelgor are useful for inflicting heavy damage and status effects on your opponent. There’s even a gorgeous Illustration Rare among the rest of the field.

Metal
While they may not look like much, there’s a diamond in the rough among the MEtal Pokemon in Journey Together, as Magearna offers fantastic healing ability to your other Pokemon, though it’s in risk of being knocked out at any moment. There are a few other heavy hitters here, including some impressive Hop cards.

If the Lillie’s Pokemon this card is attached to is knocked out by damage from an attack from your opponent’s Pokemon, that player takes one fewer prize cards.
N’s Castle
N’s Pokemon in play for bother players have no retreat cost.
N’s PP Up
Attach a basic Energy card from your discard pile to one of your benched N’s Pokemon.
Postwick
Attacks used by you and your opponent’s Hop’s Pokemon do 30 more damage to the opponent’s Active Pokemon (before applying weakness and resistance).
Discard your hand and draw seven cards.
Redeemable Ticket
Count your prize cards, shuffle them, and put them on the bottom of your deck. Then take that many cards from the top of your deck and put them face down as your prize cards.
Ruffian
Discard a Pokemon Tool and Special Energy from one of your opponent’s Pokemon.
Super Potion
Heal 60 damage from one of your Pokemon. If you healed any damage in this way, discard an Energy from that Pokemon.
Energy
Spiky Energy is a solid addition to decks that rely on getting hit and absorbing damage to hit back at their opponents. Despite a lack of variety here, there are more exciting cards to come.
Spiky Energy

As long as this card is applied to a Pokemon, it provides Spiky Energy. If the Pokemon this card is attached to is in the Active Spot, and is damaged by an attack from your opponent’s Pokemon (even if this Pokemon is knocked out), put two damage counters on the attacking Pokemon.
