Summary
We finally got a launch day forGTA 6. However, as many suspected,it has been delayed to next year. As you can imagine, fans didn’t take this very well due to the sheer amount of hype andconspiracy theoriesthat have been floating around. Those who’ve been waiting for the game for years are busy consoling themselves at the moment.
However, this could be a win for the developers who have or will be launching their games this year, as they won’t have to compete with arguably the most anticipated video game of all time. It’s not just the developers who are breathing a sigh of relief, even the industry’s favourite noble is celebrating as if he finally delivered that damned letter.

Sir Hans Capon Is Throwing A Celebratory Feast
Luke Dale, who played Hans Capon in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is overjoyed that GTA 6 has been pushed to next year. This means that the medieval peasant simulator now has a better chance of winning Game of the Year. Of course, it still has the excellent Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to compete with, but a big horse has been taken out of the race.
“WE’RE IN WITH A SHOT! GOTY!” said Dale, as he retweeted Rockstar’s statement about the delay. Perhaps he’s underselling his game a bit, as Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is surely one of the frontrunners for GOTY – at least for me, personally. Add to that a new DLC which will be dropping soon, which might further its case.

Dale might want to shift his eyes to Clair Obscur, though. Sandfall Interactive’s unique RPG is currently setting new bars every day. Itreached a million copies sold in a day, is the currenthighest rated game of 2025, and is also thehighest-rated user-scored game on Metacritic ever. EvenFrench president Emmanuel Macron congratulated the studio on its success.
