Summary
Kingdom Heartsfans have voted on the most popular worlds in the whole series, revealing a surprising overall winner and a loser that somehow managed to get selected in none of the 25,000 responses.
Even though all of us Kingdom Hearts fans are currently sitting around waiting forSquare Enix to give us any kind of update or sign of life from either Kingdom Hearts 4 or Missing Link, that hasn’t stopped the community from being as active as ever. As always, there have been a ton of discussions to be had by fans, including answers to some of the longest-running debates.

The answers to those debates (including which characters are the most popular) has been overseen by Kingdom Hearts YouTuber Regular Pat, who has become known for taking some deep dives into popular topics and even some very particular ones. Earlier this week,Regular Pat settled one of the biggest debates in the Kingdom Hearts community- what is the series' best world?
Kingdom Hearts Fans Have Voted A Surprising World From KH1 As The Best In The Series
And No, It’s Not Traverse Town
Just a few days ago, Regular Pat shared a video revealing the outcomes of a fan-vote he organised to decide which Kingdom Hearts world out of 119 (including multiple iterations across the games) is the most popular. The survey asked for five votes from each participant in no particular order and garnered over 5,000 responses, leading to around 25,000 picks overall.
With almost every world in the series included (minus ones like the Melody of Memory stages) there’s a lot to get through, but one world somehow didn’t get any votes whatsoever - Beast’s Castle from Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road. Although Dark Road and Union Cross both take up a ton of the early votes, but it’s a little surprising that not one person decided to claim DR Beast’s Castle, even as a joke.
Once you get through the mobile games that take up a good chunk of the votes, things get a lot more interesting. It would take forever to go through them all,but as a KH3 defender, I was happy to see Toybox so high up, shocked that Olympus didn’t get more love, andunsurprised that Arendelle was so low down. At least KH2’s Timeless River got the love it deserved at number nine.
The top 10 in the video is pretty much what you’d expectwith standout worlds like KH1’s Halloween Town, KH3’s The Caribbean, and The World That Never Was from Kingdom Hearts 2.
According to the votes, the top three worlds in the Kingdom Hearts series are all original ones. Traverse Town rocks in at number three, Twilight Town (the KH2 version, anyway) at number two, and, most surprisingly of all, Hollow Bastion from Kingdom Hearts takes the number one spot and crown.
While Hollow Bastion is an undoubtedly important setting for Kingdom Hearts,it’s a very marmite world when it comes to actually playing through it. Regular Pat’s audience seems to have more patience for the puzzles than me, since it managed to score so highly with so many fans.
