The statement continues: “From the bottom of my heart, I apologise to absolutely everyone that this hurts. What came out of my mouth was nonsensical garbage – I’ve let the Jewish community down and it devastates me. I don’t ask for anyone’s forgiveness, but I promise to atone for my terrible mistake.”
The incident took place at a California ski lodge. Police were called when Osment allegedly began disturbing other skiers by blocking them from the ski lift. Employees speaking to the police also claimed he was visibly intoxicated. The arrest footage also shows an arresting officer finding what they believe to be a controlled substance among Osment’s possessions. It is now being reported that he has been charged with possession of cocaine and disorderly conduct.
