Summary
Sonic and Knuckles have teamed up countless times since their Sonic 3 rivalry became a friendship inSonic & Knuckles. If you had told five-year-old me we’d be celebrating 30 years of that friendship with an official Sonic and Knuckles-themed Lamborghini though, I wouldn’t have believed you.
That Lamborghini has teamed up withSegato give one of its supercars a Sonic and Knuckles makeover is for the 30th anniversary of the Sonic 3 successor is actually an assumption on my part. Lamborghini hasn’t noted why it has done this to one of its cars, and if it is to celebrate Sonic & Knuckles turning 30, it’s a year too late.

Maybe it didn’t want to steal the Year of Shadow’s thunder.
The Sonic and Knuckles Lamborghini Revuelto was shown off in the kids' area of Italian Serie A side Bologna’s stadium last weekend, presumably when fans were there for the team’s home match against Inter Milan. That means fans who attended the game got to see their side beat table-topping Inter Milananda Sonic and Knuckles Lamborghini. What a day.

The Sonic And Knuckles Lamborghini Is Real
And I Bet It Goes Real Fast
As odd a collaboration as this is, it’s clearly been created by big fans of the Sonic series. Some cool details are included in the wrap’s design, like the 91 at the rear on the Sonic side of the car, and the 94 in the same place on the Knuckles side. The numbers represent when each character made their video game debut.
What I want to know is where the Sonic and Knuckles Lamborghini is now, and where I need to go to see it in person. Lamborghini hasn’t shared those details, but it would be wild to find out all this work went into a car that costs more than $600,000 just for a one-time showing outside an Italian football stadium.

Perhaps there are plans to sell the car in the future. You’d imagine that the wrap, which probably cost at least $3,000 to doif Halo’s Cybertruck wraps are anything to go by, has added value to the car. Then again, if you do want to own the only Sonic and Knuckles Lamborghini in the world, maybe you may convince the manufacturer that applying a wrap this garish has diminished its value.
Giving vehicles video game makeovers is more common a practice than you might think. Last year, to celebrate the aforementioned Year of Shadow,Sega turned the brooding hedgehog’s Dark Rider into a real-life motorcycle.Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Miraidon and Koraidon have also been turned into motorbikes, the former by Toyota, and thenthe latter a year later by Honda.
